They have shown Sumit not a loner but being left alone. So when kid Kumkum did tell that we cant be friends he was so sad about, he made that extra effort to be friends, but after being friends when the friendship sours he makes the attempt to tell the truth.
The way he was so carefree and yearning to be noted was so evident when Sukk become friends and how he wished she would come to Delhi.
Later when his father screams and he goes running all over Delhi the last what kept him going is his friendship with Kumkum which he dearly valued as a boy. Because in that friendship he was lively and was just like any other happy boy.
Maybe the teddy bear will be his confidante in all his worse times till he grew up. Would be interesting to know how the character shapes up for his yearning to have his friend Kumkum to come to Delhi and when it happens how would he react
was that his wish to the stars that Kumkum comes to Delhi.
Now with Hussain and Juhi's entry their Sukk character sketches will really be something to worth watch out for
