What if Kumkum was engaged and before the wedding he dies in an air crash. Seeing her condition worsen, Her parents then migrate to a new place for her to start life fresh for her.

Later she marries Jatin and then the story goes on

Juhi act when the flute is so amazing that as if her heart strings are pulled. She did that during Jatin's re-entry too but then too it was only and only Sumit for her.

the way they show Kumkum handle it looks she was head-over heels in love with that guy but fate like death parted them.

but in the end it will be sumit over anyone else for Kumkum

maybe he was someone that went to school with her that totally had a crush on her. He must of done something bad to try and get her and was sent to a mental institue, and now hes back to try and get her again.
