Vishal's Quotes on Independence DayπŸ˜›

TV stars too have special plans for I-Day

15 08 2006

From proudly waving the tricolour to visiting school functions and flying kites, celebrities of the small screen have their own individual ways of celebrating India's Independence Day.

Vishal Watwani of "Viraasat" fame too has fond recollections of playing the trumpet for the school band on this particular day.

"I used to rehearse a lot for Independence Day and those moments make me feel so patriotic even today. This time I will visit my son's school for the flag hoisting ceremony."

Nice na😳

Gagan Malik's Interview

Helloooo everyone😳

Just found a very nice interview of Gagan Malik...I found it relii sweet and cute...Its an old interview....here u go...

I culdnt get whts Bharati...Will try to find out..Ennjoyyy the interviewπŸ˜ƒ

Found a bit...

Bharati is the name of the succesful indian musical show performing all over Europe

But dunno wht Gagan used to do in it😳..Ok more info i culd make out frm tht french bitπŸ˜†..He played siddharta

Pic:

---------------------------

CS: Gagan, are you married and do you have any children?

GM: Yes I'm married but I have no kids for the moment.

CS: Where do you live in India?
GM: I live in New Dehli.

CS: I found your internet website which was under construction and we took lots of pictures of you but for some reasons, now it is not available anymore? What happened?

GM: I didn't know that, I'm going to check this with the webmaster. Did you like the pictures?

CS: Yes of course!

GM: Give me your address and I'll ask to the manager to send you a CD with pictures, they are not only from Bharati but maybe you can use them for your website.

CS: Yes sure, thanks a lot, that would be great! CS: Did you stop your career as a model?

GM: No but now I'm very busy with Bharati. But if there are some needs and I'm available, I do it.

CS: Why you didn't go in the movie industry like most of the indian models?

GM: I wanted to bring my country to the world and with movies, you don't always have this kind of opportunity. With an international show like Bharati, we represent India abroad and for me it's a big honour to do so.

CS: Do you speak French?

GM: Rahul taught me the minimum I needed: "je m'appelle Gagan Malik" and "je t'aime bien"!

CS: Ah yes, it's enough with the girls!

RV: Yes, that's what I told him, he doesn't need more!

CS: The performance rythm is quite high with a lot of shows from September to February, when will you go back hom?

GM: We might have holidays in February so it will be at this moment.

CS: Is your wife with you during the Tour?

GM: Yes she is always with me when I travel.

CS: There are news songs in this 2nd version of the show? Why that?

GM: Actually we are constantly trying to improve the show without changing the story that's why we made some amendments. Then maybe next year, we will change it again and again if we feel we should. It depends also on the audience reactions.

CS: DO you plan to play Bharati in the French West indies?

GM: I will come anywhere if people want us to come. There is no problem!

CS: So, I confirm, you are expected over there!

GM: Yes I can guess so. I was in Trinidad for cultural events organised to celebrate the 150th birthday of the Indian migration and the atmosphere was crazy!! Their Chutney music is amazing!

Found a pic also😳..i think Gagan is in tht black sherwani

Ira soni in a Play

Hellooo allTongue

Found bit of info...Ira has done a play...EnjoyyyyBig smile

-------------------

See No Evil Hear No Evil Speak No Evil
Writer : Prabodh Joshi
Director : Paritossh Painter
Cast : Nigaar Z. Khan, Pooja Ghai, Paritossh Painter, Balwinder Singh Suri, Jayesh Thakkar, Amar Manghnani, Ira Soni, Ashiesh Roy

The plot of the play revolves around a Murder and three disabled people who are being accused of committing the murder. Fortunately or unfortunately though, one of them can't 'see', one can't 'speak' and the third cannot 'hear'.

The police however think the three to be guilty while the killer obviously is only too happy about the situation. Now it is up to the trio to wrangle themselves out of the sticky situation – save themselves from the cops and of course from the killers. Can they do it?

Set in a lavish hotel called Hotel Golden Sands in Goa owned by the cute and the lovable Esha Singhania (Pooja Ghai who plays the blind girl) but which is managed by her suave, elegant stepsister Tanya Singhania (Nigaar Z Khan) and her forgetful business manager Mr Singh (Balwinder Singh aka Ballu). All's well till one day Aditya (a deaf guy, Paritosh) and Manav (dumb, Jayesh Thakkar) check into the hotel and the fun begins!

A murder takes place on the hotel premises and the three physically challenged characters are witnesses to it. On the murderer's trail is a cop (Ashish Roy, who plays multiple characters). While the original play has been written by Prabodh Joshi, Paritosh has adapted it and the performers only seem to be adding to the 'comic' quotient!

The play "See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil" promises laughter and thrills

LAUGH RIOT From the play
The Junior Agarwal Mahila Mandal brings Ideas The Entertainment Company and Main Course Productions' play in English "See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil" to Chennai. The comedy, adapted and directed by Paritossh Painter of Mumbai, will be staged as a supper theatre event on September 1, 7.30 p.m. at the Ball Room, Hotel Taj Coromandel. The Mandal comprises a group of women, belonging to the Agarwal community. It is organising the fund-raiser in support of its social welfare project. The story in a nutshell... A man is murdered. Three people are witness to it - a blind girl who hears the killer, a deaf man who sees him and a dumb man who hears him. The police do not think they are credible witnesses, but that they are the killers. And the actual killers do not want to take chances. The trio must now work together to save themselves from the police and nab the killers. Set in a lavish resort in Goa, the play is a laugh riot.

The cast includes Nigaar Z. Khan, Pooja Ghai Rawal, Paritossh Painter, Balwinder Singh Suri, Jayesh Thakkar, Amar Manghnani, Ira Soni and Ashiesh Roy.

VISHAL WATVANI has two shows currently on air; Viraasat and Kesar. Vaidehi on Sony is slotted for release.

On your sex appeal
I believe it's my weird denture (laughs). Girls tell me that I have a pleasantly wicked smile. I guess that's the USP of my face.

How girls react to you
Initially they think that I talk a lot of heavy stuff but gradually they realize that I'm the guy next door. I'm very approachable and after a point also very gullible (laughs). I make for a good friend and at times a good punching bag too. But that way even guys think I make for a great buddy.

Your first human (laughs). Since then it's been a good experience with them. My first date became my girlfriend and after a courtship period of nine years, we got married (laughs).

Your first crush
My class teacher in std. 3. I was smart enough to fall for a teacher I could spend the maximum time with (laughs). She was really cute and paid a lot of attention to me. I was the brightest kid in class when she was around.

Your most cherished compliment
I was doing a play, Ek Aur Dronacharya where my face was not seen. Someone came up to me after the show and said that I have the most expressive voice. It felt very good.

Your wildest compliment
One of the senior renowned actresses
once told me on the sets, 'if I were younger, we'd have surely had an affair'. I'm still working with her (laughs).

Love & romance...
Love is the most supreme of all emotions and keeps me afloat. It makes me believe in humankind. I would say that it makes the world a nice place to be in. Romance is a glorified way of asking for sex (laughs). It's really beautiful and mushy but the bottom line is sex. I'm not an articulate person so I'd easily say that I'm not a romantic person.

Lust...
Lust is a bad mirror of men (laughs). Everyone lusts. It's the driving force to get to the point. But of late, I haven't experienced lust for a woman besides my wife. I guess marriage helps one to keep a check on oneself. But I don't deny being attracted to woman with good athletic bodies and a bit of brains of course.

On a nudist beach
Being a doctor, I wouldn't say that I'd study human anatomy (laughs). I'd wait for the best time and plunge in . I don't think I'd want to show off my body. I don't have that perfect beach body. Long hours of shooting don't leave me with too much time to work out.

What if a girl made a pass at you?
I wouldn't say that I'll ignore it. I'd definitely cherish it but I wouldn't encourage her.
I'm a married guy so don't want to tread that ground.

Would you ask a girl out if you liked her but didn't know her well?
Yes, I would. It will be to some place where I can have good conversation with her initially.

What if you fell short of money on a date?
I wouldn't mind asking the girl to chip in. I'm sure she wouldn't mind.

Your dream date
I love beaches so it would be on a nice isolated beach. There would be a nice bonfire and I'd experience the sand and water and sunbathe later. It would be with Angelina Jolie. She's got those hot bee stung lips.

Would you dress to impress a girl?
I know what women think but I don't know what women really like so I would dress up comfortably. I think I'd impress her with my talks (laughs).

Flirtations...
I flirt at times. It's harmless flirting. Maybe
if I weren't married I'd go the whole way (laughs).

Marriage...
I'd never thought of marriage although I spent a long courtship period with my wife. I was also sure that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her but marriage was an impulsive decision. Marriage is a social need but I would have been happy with a live-in relationship.

What if your wife caught you with your pants down?
I'd say it wasn't me! (Laughs). It reminds me of a Hollywood film that I'd seen a while back. But I'm sure a situation like that will never arise!

Your wildest bedroom fantasy
Married men have tried everything under the sun so they are always waiting for something new and wicked to come to their mind. Will let you know! (Laughs).

Are women a necessary evil?
They are necessary for sure. Who said they are evil!
