Sumit as a LOSER - UNFAIR!!!

Well.. this thought has crossed my mind several times in the last few days, and finally I felt I should post my thoughts. You may, well, agree or disagree..

In the past, there have been many tracks in Kumkum.. some we've liked some we didn't.. some we agreed with, some we didn't.. some started well whereas some ended on a good note. If I'm not mistaken, this SuKK-Nivi is the first such track where we've had quite a difference of opinions. Well, anyways..that was not my point.

We all know that television is a women-centric medium..where female protagonists rule the roost and KK is no different. But then, haven't we always felt that KK is different from other soaps in some ways? Amongst the differences..is that KK is one show that has always portrayed the couple..ie, SuKK, on equal standing.

For the first time, in the current track.. I feel the writers, in order to portray KK as a winner, are projecting Su as a LOSER! Its like Su cannot do anything..only KK can win! 😕

In the past, there have been several tracks where KK has emerged winner..very recently being the Santo track, with everyone praising her for keeping the family binded and united..etc..etc. But never has Su been treated in the manner he is being treated right now. And I'm not just talking about the jail sentence and him not getting bail (maybe thats not in their scheme of things right now) His dialogues have been the same since the last sooooo many episodes "KK meri zindagi hai.. vishwas hai.. pyar hai.." etc..etc Thats all I've heard him say in the last few weeks.. Thats also all fine..understandable..

By saying all this, I'm not grudging KK anything. Its great that they're showing her as a fighter (like she always is) but yet, in my opinion, the writers have projected Su as someone who failed in his attempt and is now, all soooo dependent. A LOSER.. and that is something that bothers me..

means he lost n ab jail mein hai...and even thu kk ka plan fail hua still she wins at d end...fine kk wins bt dunt project su as a loser

Eks.. you are so right... that is what i felt too..the writers have reduced all others also in the serial to caricatures too... all they have to say is Humari KK!! and it is sad what they have done to Su...absolutely his dialogues are getting repetitive.. and even today's scene...which was quite a momentous one ..given this was the first time both kk and su were meeting each other after so long and after all the misunderstandings have been resolved...what do we get ..some really thanda scene.. where we have KK talking about how she will fight and get him out...

I am actually waiting for this whole track to get over..lets just get over with the mahaaan kk getting this whole track resolved, getting su out ..so everyone else can get better things to do in the serial at least.. then j ust mouthing humari KK. And we can see Su being his usual sucessful businessman he is .

Writers have totally lost the plot..this kind of blatant KK heroism being showm.. is neither realistic..a nd does not touch anyone's hearts.. This serial needs new writers and a new director!

Honestly, how come Kk is able to break Tiple and katara and Su was n ot able too... how come the parivaar ( apartfrom the kids) have not even given su a compassionate look ..let alone thinking of meeting him. Kk is beginning to look to unreal for a common man to relate to her...

Suja..I completely agree with you on the SuKK scene they showed today. I was hoping it would be a classic SuKK scene, but it left me disappointed. Like you said, 'thanda' to say the least.

Everyone is most welcome to continue with their KK worship..its been like that in the past and will continue in the future as well. All I wish was they had taken a balanced approach with regards to their characters..and not project Su like he just can't do anything at all.

I was thinking same thing . always sumit is looser and he never win alone . he have to take kumkums help .they never shown that sumit did something for kumkum and he solved his family problems alone. Its sad that Sumit is always looser.

i disagree, su isnt a looser and nor he has been projected as a looser. he found out about nivi first so the first part of track, involved him trying to save kk from nivi. no prob that his plan failed, it happens all the time, even with kk. then he got trapped in this flase case, obvisouly him being in jail, what could he do, it had to be kk and only kk who could save him

since this track involved sukk and nivi. they had to involve kk to such a high level in the phase of the trcak. bec the first phase involved su and nivi to high level. they kept a good balance.

su too has done his bit in this track, unlike other tracks like santo where kk stole the show complely and su wasnt shwon at all. that's where the word unfair fits in.

here atleats the wrierts gave him something to do

suja, and i dont think today's sukk scene was thanda. the kind of strength and none giving up attitude she shwoed was remarkabale. she gave su alot of hope and he too was feeling that he will be out of jail soon.

imo, the way kk's character tops all female leading ladies on tv, su's character to tops all the males hero's

i guess if one watches the serial for sukk, they would kind of undertsnad what i have said. kyunki in this whole track both got something to do. it would have been unfair if only one of them did everything and the other jsut sat down.

Well Nozy.. I'm not talking about something to do and something not to do.. Its just the way Su has been projected..like he couldn't do anything to save himself and KK from the situation.

Thats exactly what I'm saying about keeping a balance. When I talk about keeping a good balance, I mean they should've kept a balance in showing SuKK doing things together to sort out things.. not one sitting in jail and the other doing everything. Talking about the Santo track.. Santo started off when Su was away for treatement..and things got sorted out when he returned. Though KK was disguised as Santo and did everything in that track..we never had complaints about Su being projected in any such way.

And yes..those who watch the show for SuKK might also understand my point of view.. ie, SuKK need to be fighting together to sort out things.

😆😆 Haan ji.. pata hai loser is a very harsh word.. lekin kya karoon, I felt that way toh keh diya yaar 😕 You know na..I would be the last person to call Su a 'loser'.. it hurts yaar 😭😭
