Juhi Parmar, the eponymous heroine of Kumkum, is consulting the Bombay High Court lawyer Dr. U. A. Kohir. She is not filing a case against anyone but is taking tips from him for her new role in Kumkum. She is going to play the lawyer of her husband Sumeet (Hussain).
Karishma, the creative head of the show, says, "She is taking training from the lawyer for this track. They wanted to meet and talk about this role. However, I think as both of them are very busy, they could not make it. She started shooting for this lawyer track. So everyday she discusses the scenes with him over the phone."
"Our lawyer is also very co-operative and explains to her all the things like what her mannerism and attitude should be while doing a particular kind of thing in court. Further, if we do not get the desired result out of it, he also suggests necessary changes to her. He teaches her some pronunciations like 'my lord,' etc."
"Juhi wanted to attend the hearings of some cases in court. However, she could manage to go only for one. She is a very committed actress. She is always ready to learn new things. Last time also when we asked her to learn Haryanvi, she did it for us. We arranged a language consultant for her."
Juhi played a Haryanvi and Rajasthani girl in the same show. Right now, in the show, Sumeet has been jailed for a murder case. Kumkum's friend Nevidita (Shweta Kawatraa) planned this all as she wanted to create problems for Kumkum and Sumeet. There are rumours that she is not happy with the track as Shweta is getting more scenes in the show.
The episode where Juhi will be seen as a lawyer is scheduled to come on air next week. Juhi is also hosting Antakshari on Star.
