Kumkum: Celebrates 1000 episodes

The entire cast that is the old and the new generation showed up for the party. "We never thought when we started shooting for Kumkum that this show would complete this many episodes." said Juhi Parmar, the lead actress of the show.

There are instances of television stars who have left their shows just because they were identified with their characters which they did not want, but for Hussain (Sumeet) and Juhi (Kumkum) their thoughts are different. "If people know us by our character names, that means they are so much attached to us by our performances that means our acting is so realistic." said Hussain.

What is the reason people still like to see this serial?
"May be the commitment we gave in the beginning is that this show is a pure love story of Kumkum and Sumeet and now even after the leap our commitment to the same love story is on the same track." Juhi added that, "like other shows we have not gone for sub tracks in between, like the other serials usually do to."

This journey of a thousand episodes must be full of memories, good and bad both. Hussain agreed and said, "So many times we have had small fights which were for the betterment of the scenes and for us too, it was routine. I'm not so good in Hindi, so Juhi is always correcting me and I have improved now."

And the actors with their producrs boogied the night away in sheer esctacy.
