The STAR Parivaar Awards have always been a much-anticipated annual event that promises a fun-filled evening for the entire family. The STAR Parivaar Awards is an event that celebrates the excellence and contribution of each and every member of the STAR family and what makes this year extremely special is that the STAR Parivaar celebrates the 5th anniversary of its successful existence. STAR viewers vote for their favourite characters, rather than the actor playing the role.

This year, the STAR Parivaar Awards have been divided into the Hall of Fame categories and Popular categories. The Hall of Fame categories will comprise of all those faces that have been a part of the channel previously. But if you think Tulsi is going win this hands down, she faces stiff competition from yesteryears stalwarts like Neena Gupta from Saans, Renuka Shahane from Kora Kagaaz, Aroona Irani from Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand among others.

STAR Parivaar Awards 2007 is going to be much bigger, better and larger than life! It's going to take the route of a musical and will give you a Broadway feel which has never before been done in the history of television. Watch as Kumkum – Sumeet, Kavya – Anjali and Karan – Nandini burn the dance floor together, yesteryears leading men and ladies like Neena Gupta – Kanwaljit, Kiran Kumar – Aroona Irani dance together, young couples like KT – Lakshya and Prachi – Neev perform on a romantic medley, Prerna goes beyond her Nach Baliye dancie routines and a lot more performances.
