The Juhi Parmar - Taseem Sheikh war gets murkier as the latter makes her fourth come back on the popular show early next week. The friends turned foes even had a nasty showdown in public a few days ago, when Sheikh blamed Parmar for instigating her abrupt ouster from the show. "Juhi had threatened to walk out of Kumkum if my contract was renewed," Tasneem whines. "She thinks that she is big enough to get people in and out of shows. Juhi has always been damn insecure about me. She once even told me point blank that she was jealous because my character Renuka was more popular than Kumkum. But I really had no idea that she would become so vindictive," she adds. Tasu says that she feels like she has been stabbed in the back by 'good friend' Juhi who has manipulated the situation to have her thrown out of a highly watched serial. "It's sad because I didn't think she was the kind to indulge in dirty politics," says a visibly hurt Tasneem. A scorned friend can be worse than a million foes. Tasneem's grudge wouldn't have been so vehement if Parmar wasn't her friend. We asked Juhi about her take on these accusations. She says: "I've had enough of Tasneem and her bad mouthing. I've been told that she has been bitching about me to anyone and everyone. This is expected of that cheap girl because she has no class." Juhi says that she doesn't want to defend herself or give any clarifications to anyone. "But, I'd like to put the record straight once and for all. I knew that Tasneem's contract was not being renewed. But I had nothing to do with it. It was totally the channel's and the producers' call. They threw her out of Kumkum because she was not required. Tasneem is talking shit about my character. If I start retaliating, that woman will be in a terrible mess." What changed the equation between the two actresses in the first place? Apparently, 'insecurity' played a vital role in the story of this friendship gone kaput. "Tasneem was always insecure about me because I was playing the main lead in a popular show and not her. She is accusing me of something that I've not done. If I had my way I'd never see Tasneem's face ever in my life. Unfortunately I have to. She is back in my life and in my show as well," says Juhi. So, how does she feel about working with Tasneem again? "Well, what can I say? Life plays such unfair games," she concludes…with a hearty laugh.
