Kumkum one of the STAR Plus' most popular shows is in the news these days as lead actor Hussain (Sumeet) is reportedly leaving the show.
When contacted, Hussain however, denied the news. "I don't want to quit the show. It's the creative people's decision whether to keep me or not. They haven't contacted me about this development. Kumkum has given me everything and much more. So I don't want to leave it. I don't know anything about the changes in my role, story or anything related to it."
A source in the unit said. "It is still undecided. There are chances of changes in story but there will be no replacement for Sumeet's role. It's the channel's decision." When contacted, Juhi (Kumkum) Parmar briskly said: "It's not true."
Is this one of the tricks of the serial makers for increasing their TRP?
Amidst growing speculation on the issue of Hussain being or not being on the show, there will be a special appearance by actor Sanjeet Bedi, who is also seen in Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasma.
Sanjeet Bedi is doing a special appearance in Kumkum as Mohit Kapadia who gets engaged to Niti (Megha Gupta). Does Niti want to marry Mohit or will she realise her love for Sharman, that's for us to watch out for!
