Su is furious at what happened with Aashka and vows to punish Abhishek.. SuKK see Dadaji standing at the door.. Dadaji asks Su, is he that old or Su big enough that he cannot share his problems with the elders? Su apologises to Dadaji and says he cannot tell him anything.. this time he cannot share his grief with him. Dadaji is disappointed and leaves.. Su knows Dadaji is hurt and tells KK he can't tell anyone about his illness or what happened with Aashka.. and tells her they have to tell Aashka not to tell anyone anything.. they got to hide it from the family.. KK tells Su they have to tell everyone.. Just like Aashka told them and fulfilled her responsibility, they too have to do the same..
BREAK..
Everyone preparing for dinner.. Veena tells Antara to call Aashka for dinner.. Aashka comes out.. SuKK come to the living room and Su gathers everyone around and tells them what happened with Aashka. After hearing Su.. Dadi grabs Aashka and slaps her! Everyone is shocked. Dadi holds Aashka responsible for everything that happened.. Dadi lifts her hand to slap her again, but Su stops her. Dadi is shocked that SuKK are supporting Aashka.. Su tells Dadi if Aashka is responsible for what happened, he is doubly responsible.. he couldn't protect his daughter. Su goes down on his knees and tells Dadi he should be punished and not Aashka. Dadi is angry.. and leaves. Dadaji, Kul and Veena leave.. KK grabs Aashka by the hand and tells her to go with her..
KK takes Aashka to Dadi's room and tells Dadi she is free to beat Aashka as much as she likes coz she made a mistake.. but tells Dadi that the beating Aashka got, is it not the worst any woman can get? Dadi is still furious and tells KK both she and Su are equally responsible.. Aashka is responsible for everything that happened..she went against the family and its values and traditions.. Dadi tells Aashka she has nothing to do with her anymore.. Aashka has severed their relationship. Dadi leaves.. Aashka apologises to KK for all that she had to hear from Dadi..
On her way home, Neeti stops by a jewellery store and admires a necklace she sees in the window.. She asks the owner how much it costs..and realises its too expensive for her. Sharman passes by there..asks her how much the necklace costs..she tells him the price and Sharman tells her its too expensive. Neeti is happy to hear that.. Sharman offers to drop her home. On their way, Sharman stops and asks her if she wants to have 'gola'! Neeti tells Sharman she is impressed as now he understands the value of money. Sharman tells her, for the day he earned enough to only have a gola.. Neeti tells him she will walk home from there.. he can get back to work.
Sharman returns to the jewellery store.. A fellow rickshaw driver asks Sharman if he wants to buy it for his girlfriend.. Sharman laughs and says its too expensive.. the guy tells Sharman he can earn that much overnight..and asks Sharman to meet him later.
BREAK..
The rickshaw driver brings 2 other guys to Sharman and tells him he has to be with them the whole day and take them wherever they wish.. and fixes Rs5000 as Sharman's pay. Sharman says he'll meet him the next day..and leaves. The 2 guys ask the rickshaw driver if Sharman will do their work.. he says yes, as he needs the money. The 2 guys ask him why he does not want to do it..he says coz he doesn't wanna get into trouble with the police..
Aashka in her room.. Dhruv comes and reassures her that everything will be fine. He believes Aashka didn't do anything wrong, and sooner or later the family will believe it too.. Antara comes there and tells Dhruv that reporters have come..and Dadaji has said for Aashka to stay in her room..
The reporters repeatedly asking Dadaji, Kul & Su about Aashka's rape.. Dadaji tells them they don't have anything to say.. and asks them to leave. Reporters ask to meet with Aashka.. they ask SuKK how they feeling about their daughter getting raped.. Su is quiet.. KK speaks up.. tells them to ask themselves the same question - how would they feel if something like that happened in their family..with their sisters or daughters.. Rather than writing about the culprit who caused them so much grief, they want to see how Aashka is doing? KK brings Aashka out and tells the reporters to click her pictures and ask whatever they wish to.. Aashka will not look down in embarrasement.. but will face everything.
