ANANG DESAI ENTERS KUMKUM
Anang Desai and Gujarati characters seem to go hand in hand. After playing the adorable patriarch of the whacko Parekh family in Khichdi, Desai will now be seen playing a scheming lawyer, Ashwin Vanjera in Star Plus' afternoon soap Kumkum. Produced by BAG Films, the serial which recently took a 20 year generation jump will see Vanjera engaging in a court battle with the protagonist Wadhwa family. Interestingly, Vanjera will use the Wadhwa grand daughter-in-law, Antara (Sayantini Ghosh) against her own family. Desai will enter the show starting tomorrow's episode.
