The Wadhwa family throws a surprise birthday party for Kumkum. Abha notices that Sumeet is in his room alone and is crying. She does not understand why and on her coaxing Sumeet finally tells her about Kumkum's brain tumour.

Rohit calls and wishes Kumkum and she invites Rohit for the party. Kumkum gets to know about Sumeet resigning his job. Sumeet goes to fetch Kumkum as the party is about to start and he finds out that she is not ready to go for the party yet.
