"It feels great that the show has completed three years and a leap was not taken!" exclaims Juhi Parmar who plays the part of Kumkum.... "It's amazing how the story has made the show popular and kept the audience gripped. The fact that a leap was not required for the show to keep going on is very good." supports Hussain who plays Sumit on the show. Sustaining a show such as Kumkum is definitely a tough task. There's a lot of pressure on you because you have to keep delivering to keep the audience hooked." he adds. The show has got the careers of both Hussain and Juhi jet setting and they sure are thankful
to the fact. "As an actress I've played so many shades on the show. It's been an enriching experience, you bet." says Juhi. Hussain himself is all praise and goes on to say that Kumkum is the biggest thing that's happened to him in his career so far. "Relationships have grown; I've grown, experimented and come up as an actor. There's been so much of discovering. The show's still a baby and has a long way to go." says with nostalgia. Tassnim Sheikh who is back on the show since only a week also adds that it's great working on the show. "I'm more like a guest on the show, so I keep coming and going." she says. Unconfirmed sources indicate that Tassnim was called back on the show after the show's TRP's started dipping post her exit from it. Now the show has picked up again. Tassnim however had no comments on it. There was speculation that rifts between Tassnim and Juhi had caused Tassnim's exit. Whatever the reasons, here wishing the show the very best of luck! |
