Tasneem’s new house!

Tassnim Sheikh, better known as Mohini has been exuding negativity all over the small screen but as Riya V. Anandwala discovers, the lively lass is as different from her screen image as chalk and cheese.

Foliage, nature, and fresh breeze are the three factors responsible for Tassnim's newly done up house at Yari Road in suburban Mumbai. Moderately elevated, it embraces two beautiful bedrooms, a smashing kitchen, striking bathroom and an extraordinary balcony.

"I love this locality for the simple reason that it seems more of a hill station and less of Mumbai. The view from my flat is excellent," says the small screen actor.

The living room is spacious and surrounded by mirrors which give it an exceptional look. "I just love my balcony. I enjoy sitting there and looking at the greenery and the birds," says Tassnim. The main door to the house too has a very ethnic look. "The most attractive interior piece is the chandelier in my hall," avers Tassnim.

Tassnim is extremely fond of her
bathroom, and she's spent a lot on doing it up. "The most striking trait of my bathroom is the ceiling," she says Her parents' room has been done up in pink and white. "My kitchen where

I love spending time, as I am a good cook, has a rough and tough look." Such a magnificently designed house

with those striking artifacts all around the place, makes us wonder who the interior designer is? Well, Tassnim's herself done it all. "I did everything and the door, chandelier and the dining table are very close to my heart."

And what would her dream house be like? "It has to be in some hill station, though

not Lonavala or something of that sort. But definitely something like Shimla or Dalhousie. I would also like to go for something like those chateau like houses in Scotland!"
