After getting married in Jaipur on February 15, Juhi Parmar and Sachin Shroff are already back to work. We spoke to Sachin, who told us about the wedding and life after that.
"It was very nice. Everything went on properly," he started off. "It was a combination of Rajasthani and Sindhi cultures, but there isn't much difference in the rituals and ceremonies. Ghodi pe chadna, swastik ke saath pooja and then, saat phere toh sabhi jagah common hai. The ratio of the similarities to that of the differences would be 7:3." Some of the Sindhi rituals were done before they left for Jaipur, he added.
On February 14, the duo exchanged rings and celebrated Valentine's Day as well. As Sachin told us, "There was a puja on that day, which got done by 3pm and we only had to be ready for the ring ceremony by 7pm. So between this, we spent quality time together. I gifted her a very large heart-shaped fibre frame with a couple standing under an umbrella. She gave me a bouquet and a very cute card." Later that evening, the two exchanged rings. "I gave her a solitaire and she bought me a beautiful band," Sachin said.
Sachin told us it is great to share a life with Juhi. "Our schedules clash a lot, so it's difficult to spend time together. But whatever time we do get, we try to enjoy every single moment. We try to find happiness in every small thing."
The duo came back from Jaipur on Februrary 19 and got back to work the very next day. They will be flying to New Zealand for their honeymoon at the beginning of next month and be back to the grind again on March 24.
