Hey guys, Don't get me wrong. I am a Kumkum show lover as well...well, at least I used to love Kumkum. Now, it is simply boring. The characters in the earlier show were well etched, and the storyline was so entertaining. The slowly falling in love and realizing the importance of marriage was an interesting concept, and I love watching the re-runs on Rajshri.com. Now, the show just takes random turns which make no sense. I am still unable to understand who the new Sumit and Kumkum are--sometimes, they seem bratty, at other times they seem nice--they are very poorly developed characters. I am so bored by this new age kumkum and sumit. What do you guys think? I think Kumkum has completely lost its magic 😭

Well i wouldn't say it lost its magic..
I know the new KumKum is very difference then the old one...
i loved the kumkum before the rebirth and i also love the kumkum after the rebirth..
its true that nowadays we get to see some less interesting scene like we are used to with kumkum
but i think the latest episodes suffered a lot due to the strikes...
and also lots of time body doubles are used..
lets hope that in the coming weeks this is solved and we get to see KumKum like we are used to...
don't give up so easily

we cant compare the 2 charaters before & after reincarnation. they r totally opposite. only thing common is they love each other but have taken their own time to realise it previously & even now.
otherwise, as u say, U loved the show & were a fan of KK, if U would have wacthed they show regularly, U would have fallen in love with these characters too.
the sudden twists in the show is making the show more interesting rather than losing its magic, I would say

well sumit and kumkum have to be a bit different to the previous birth ones, otherwise whats the point of a new reincarnation track. I love this new kumkum she's so bratty and cute, but i think after getting together with Sumit she's because a bit quiet 😉

I agree with you.. to some extent
Sadly, I will agree that Kumkum has kinda lost its magic but I don't think its coz the characters aint sketched well..but coz the storyline is wavering like crazy!! We've been seeing how scenes/tracks are being lifted from films..which is not a bad thing..as long as its done well! I find the current happenings..too boring!
As for Sumit Kumkum.. the scenes they're doing..its all fine.. but seems half-hearted! And things work both ways.. On one hand, the writing & direction seems sloppy..and don't do justice to the actors or characters. On the other hand, Husein & Juhi seem like they're sleep-walking through the scenes..the dialogues & the way they say it..it all seems more like a case of 'been-there-done-that'. There is no excitement..no fun 😕
I'm not comparing..I love both, the pre & post reincarnation characters of Sumit Kumkum.. coz both are very different from one another.. But personally, post-reincarnation..I loved the nok-jhonk..the masti-mazaak..the leg-pulling and all that stuff.. Somehow, I'm not enjoying the 'we're-in-love' phase of Sumit Kumkum..
Sorry.. but this is just my opinion.
