The incident that happened today has a lot of options open for which way the story will progress from here on....
Here are the list of Movies stories of which suit Kumkum at this point (Nothing to insult the creatives... they do a fab job even when they pick up a track which is inspired)
1. Taal - Whatever happened today was the way Taal went. Sumeet stays back at home and makes a silent revolt against his father while Kumkum turns towards making a career of her own. I would love this track because we will get to see Kumkum as Career woman.... an aspect they havent touched upon expect for the track where Kunkkum turned a lawyer.
2. DDLJ - Sumeet comes to Sundernagar and win back his love and her family. But the twist in the story is that Kumkum might be the one who will be an obstacle not Chandu.
3. Saathiya - As Norzar suggested in another post even the Saatihya track will have a lot of potential. May be Kumkum agrees to marry Surjan Singh, but one that day she realises she cant live without Sumeet and calls of the wedding.... Her family will get upset with her for backing out at the nth minute and asks her to leave home. Sumeet-Kumkum get married.. it will be great to see Sumeet-Kumkum staying away from their families all by themselves trying to make a home for themselves... and the conflicts of a young couple just married will make an interesting viewing, Sumeet Kumkum both working and making a modest living ... it will get a lot of freshness to the story.
4. Maine Pyar Kiya - Sumeet leaves home to get Kumkum back... his mother supports him in this... i can completely imagine Sumeet with his mother in the mandir saying 'Main galath tho nahi hoon na, Maa' and Yasho saying no and giving him the khandani bangles to give to her Bahu. Sumeet comes to Sundernagar and Omi asks him to prove if he can take care of Kumkum as whatever Sumeet was untill now was due to his dad's money... .he challenges Sumeet to earn some amount of money in a specified time to get Kumkum's hand in marriage... Sumeet accepts the conditions and gets to do work. So he stays back in SNagar... that way we will Kumkum supporting and encouraging him to win the challenge.
5. Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham - the situation is same as maine pyar kiya... Sumeet-Kumkum get married but stay away from the Raichands... but the problem is there is no Lakshman with Ram and Sita to get them back... but they can always introduce Sumeet's cousin... who plays Hrithik's character.
I cant think of any other story... incase u can think of anything else do add them... lets see what other options we have. đ
Which one of these will you personally prefer? or would you like the Kumkum's story to go in a hatke direction... if so what is ur ideal track in which the story should proceed. But all of this there is one BIG problem to deal with Surjan Singh! I think the 1st anyone should be thinking of is stopping Kumkum from marrying Surjan Singh... because now Kumkum will not tolerate her father having to bow his head to Surjan Singh and break his promise... so even if no one wants Kumkum to marry Surjan Singh.. Kumkum will not listen...untill she is stopped forcibly. đ
