Why though? Her father's not poor, Gayatri seems happy and they both look well cared for. Why would she work as a housekeeper? Or was it free labour? Out of the goodness of her heart? I hope we get to know she's passionate about something and they introduce future tracks about her interests.

It would have been mature if they showed Prat acknowledging her love for Rau, but told shiv that she believes in the institution of marriage more than anything. Her past doesn’t define her present. I’m your wife now, and that's the bond I honour above all.

That would’ve made her character feel honest and self aware instead of making her look like she’s either lying to Shiv or trying to erase her own truth

ITV writers are so scared of "gray areas" that they always try to show MLs feelings black and white.

Just because Prarthana is ItV lead she cannot have any past and only her husband can be her first love. This mentality needs to change. First love should not get that importance as long as you choose a love your husband for the rest of your life.

Prarthana has lived a shetltered life and falling for Raunak was very natural. But if she chose Shivansh and the marriage despite her past with raunak doesn't make her immoral. They can brag about Shiv and Sonalika all the time. No one is questioning Shiv's character for once for leaving his fiance and marrying Prarthana. But everyone is questioning Prarthana for having her past with Raunak where Shiv was well aware of the fact. I just hate the hypocray.

But I am also guilty of enjoying the madness of PraShiv

By the way, the Smita-Prarthana conversation the other day (+ masked's os) reminded me that Prarthana knows about her mom Purvi. Why aren't the makers showing that? She can at least think about her mother? Miss her? Be sad and frustrated about Purvi being in jail? I know the actress is busy with her new show, but they can bring in someone else? They shouldn't have brought her back if they knew they couldn't arrange things.

Actually kkb4 has a completely new set up with new cast.none of the previous cast was there.So many people complained that they dont feel that they are watching kkb and it looks like a new show.And the culprits of s3 were also let free.peoolw were worried that Prarthana will never get to know that she actually belongs to a rich family. To have connection with the previous generation only they brought purvi back.After purvi came purvi said that prarthana has got 2 mothers and 2 fathers.But prarthana didnt ask who her real father is.Many people made fun of that in TU and youtube.Purvi didn't know anything about hee father or his family though she met her mother.

They did zero planning before introducing leap. The only reason legacy shows work is because of the story following the same bloodline (usually the FL). They should have known that a completely new FL with no connection to previous gen would be heavily criticised and audience would find it difficult to connect. And if they did go that way, why make a mess? Either ignore them or incorporate them into the current storyline.

You are perfectly entitled to your POV but I beg to disagree with your POV.

Let us take the situation in reverse-let's assume for example that Shivansh truly loved Sonalika but still he had gone ahead and married Prathana for the sake of his revenge against the Zaveris.

He then tells Prathana that even though he loves Sonalika truly he believes in the institution of wedding and that his past doesn't define his present situation.So how would you expect Prathana to take that?

Would Prathana be happy or sad or just feign indifference? Fact is Prathana inspite of Shivansh's efforts would always have this nagging feeling inside her that she is only his responsibility not love-Sonalika would always remain inside Shivansh's heart despite all the efforts of Shivansh.

Yes with time perhaps the marital bond of Prashiv would strengthen but Sonalika would always remain an irritant in their relationship.

Getting back to your POV if Prathana had said this point to Shivansh that she values wedding above her love for Raunak fact is Shivansh would always think that Prathana is just doing her duties not loving him like any wife should love her husband.

So Raunak would always remain an obstacle in Prashiv's relationship.

What you have mentioned has happened in Ghum serial with Sairat of SP yet the first love always remained an irritant in the couple's relationship though both the husband and wife had started to love each other with time.

But coming back to your supposed point of grey areas well I think that Sonalika perhaps is obsessed with Shivansh like Monisha.Shivansh has feelings for Prathana but won't acknowledge them either due to his revenge or due to his responsibility with Sonalika.

Prathana in this case would always have this nagging feeling that Shivansh prefers Sonalika over her inspite of her being the wife of Shivansh.

Weddings or relationships be it of any ITV couple would always remain mired in misunderstandings and that makes the serial.quite boring from my POV.

I don't rate Abhigya or Pranbir as even a serious couple bcoz when an ML character is spending the majority of his time with the vamp then how can it be called a love story even in the first place?

Yes and kkb4 is the first show where the leap has no cast from the previous generation. So viewers could not connect at all and all the kkb viewers left watching the show.but when purvi came,just to see her many kkb3 fans came back to watch it.

Actually when the shows get dragged they show separations and the ML with the vamp.thats what happened with pranbir.almost 2 1/2 years pranbir love story was cute with completely pranbir into each other.but after abhigya's departure from the show they showed rhea entering ranbir's life and pranbir got ruined.abhigya too had a cute love story for a long time.but leaps and leaps ruined them too.

Shivansh would save Prathana and Smita from the current fire incident that's a given fact.What I don't want the CV's to do is Shivansh losing all his intelligence due to Smita's manipulation.

It's one thing to trust Bua Maa but if he gets ready to trust Smita again then his revenge mission served no purpose then.The Zaveris got a stay order on his takeover Zaveri Mansion plan and Raunak set his own house on fire.

Shivansh shouldn't underestimate Raunak or his mom Smita.His revenge plan is anyway already exposed.Prathana and Karan know the reason behind Shivansh's revenge already including Smita now.

Any character whether grey or negative who plan their revenge mission do not expose their hidden intentions till their plan gets completed.I hate to say this but Shivansh even if he hated Smita so much shouldn't have exposed his entire past to Karan.

I understand Shivansh's emotions regarding Smita but he could have been shown as keeping his emotions in check and thinking the entire past in his mind itself thus exposing the entire past to the viewers.

Neither Smita wouldn't have come to know nor Prathana would have caused unwanted interference with his revenge plans.

What Shivansh could have done is hinted at some past business rivalry or let',s say speak a lie that Zaveris caused him some financial losses in the past hence he's after them.Perhaps Karan might have believed Shivansh then also.

Prathana has developed sympathy for Shivansh good it's their first step of love but she thinks with her heart not with brains like her hubby.

Shivansh's revenge plan not being exposed would have given a more mysterious aura to his character. The Zaveris would have lived in fear not knowing what to expect next from Shivansh.
