I do not get Pallavi 🤔

Seeing Pallavi manipulate Vikram in today's epi reminded me of how Rhea used to manipulate Abhi to get him to sympathise with her when she was in the wrong.

Ranbir was right – the son she claims to love so much, she hardly ever takes his feelings, wants and needs into consideration when making decisions for him.

It’s one thing to not want Prachi as her daughter in law – on some level, I get her resentment against Prachi as she supposedly stole her position in Ranbir’s life by becoming much more important for him than his own mother. But her insistence on forcing Rhea on Ranbir – that’s something I don’t get at all!

During the Lohri epi, she practically heard Rhea say that her love for Ranbir will only last as long as she can isolate Prachi by snatching him from her. Not just that, Pallavi has witnessed time and again the sort of tantrums and unstable behaviour Rhea exhibits when things don’t go her way. Why would any mother want a girl like her for her son?! Pallavi’s hatred for Prachi really has made her blind to all of Rhea’s faults.

At this point, I feel the only way Pallavi would accept Prachi is if she gets to know the true extent of Rhea’s vile deeds. IF ever Rhea gets exposed (and that's a big IF), I don’t want only the Mahashivratri thing or the Prachi-Sid hotel room incident exposed – I feel all of Rhea’s deeds should be exposed at once in front of the Kohli family, including the whole fiasco with Maya.

Rhea and Aliya constantly manipulate Pallavi by pointing out how much Prachi (and by extension Ranbir) have wronged Rhea in the past. Which is also why Pallavi looks the other way when they do something wrong with Prachi. But if she realises that Rhea didn’t even spare her own son with her ploys (Maya’s fake molestation charges, forced marriage), it might finally open her eyes to the evil ways of her favorite DIL.

I wonder if in the murder attempt they are going to make on Prachi, if Ranbir gets harmed instead. They have been throwing subtle hints in recent episodes, with Ranbir constantly joking about losing his life or his heart stopping (and Prachi or Dida chiding him for it). I have a feeling this is gonna make Pallavi hate Prachi even more (and maybe this time, Dida and Vikram would also be against Prachi).

I also don't get Pallavi and I don't try to get her either.. 😆 It's quite evident that she is being kept foolishly negative so as to keep making Prachi's life difficult.. After all if we think about it, if Pallavi turns soft towards Prachi, there is no one in the house to hold Rhea and Aliya there .. Within a matter of time, they would be thrown off.. Ranbir would be least interested and Vikram and Dadi would take a sigh of relief.. Rhea and Aliya both have no standing in the house unless backed by Pallo.. Hence her character is sacrificed in the name of mother's love, prachi is a bad bahu blahhhhhh.... 😆There is no logic to Pallo's behavior .. It will go on like this unless Rhea and Aliya take over the house and property, so they can remain around without Pallo's help and make the life of central characters, Prachi and Ranbir hell..😆

Wow! Pallavi just sunk to a new low.

Prachi narrowly escaped death today, and all she can think of is how Rhea is upset because Ranbir saved Prachi. And after all that happened, the only thing she took away from the incident was that Ranbir and Prachi should not be allowed to come closer. Like really?! She should feel grateful that nothing untoward happened in her house - as far as she knows, it could easily have been her or Vikram or Dida under that chandelier. And here I was foolishly hoping she'd feel slight remorse (even if for a few seconds) for asking God to remove Prachi from their lives and witnessing her murder attempt moments later. But no, she's even telling the police how much she hates Prachi's guts!

I mean, one could see some logic in her thinking if she'd expressed disapproval over the risk her son took, and then proceeded to conclude that Prachi only brings danger to her son's life and therefore the two should be separated. But her current reasoning that Prachi and Ranbir uniting would be unfair to Rhea - that is some weird mother's love you see right there! Where the concern for someone else exceeds far more than for her own son.

Pallavi is blinded by her ego and she honestly can't see anything beyond her hatred for Prachi. At times like these when her blind hatred is highlighted, it's hard to differentiate her from Riya. The writers totally ruined Pallavi's character!

Well they need one character to stand opposite Prachi so the drama can continues. So who is better than Pallavi have the chance as to hold that place.

Logic is out of window for most of the characters in the series. But things shown as if they all have one track mind.

Ranbir thinking who can harm Prachi from her home. (this is a easy guess even after knowing that he got high on mahashivratri because of aliya)

Prachi still won't believe that Rhea can plan her murder in holi sequence( like seriously)

Same goes with Pallavi. So for the drama everything is fine n correct🤣
