Looks like they are trying to satisfy everyone. There is definitely a section of audience who enjoy this torturing of women, women fighting everyday to save her kumkum nonsense. And toxic MLs also have many fans. So they are using older couple to satisfy these people. And then they are showing normal, stable relationship with Pranbir, for people who like that and don't like the toxic crap. (This is the only solution I could come up for the extremely opposite writing for the two couples.)

Some weird people think Pranbir/Dp are boring because well, they are not TOXIC and there are no unnecessary conflicts between all the characters (except Rhea who is full of conflicts because of herself mainly and because of pehli peedhi characters). I’m happy if they are boring because they are atleast not toxic.

( But I don’t find them boring at all.. They are cute and funny too.. especially Ranbir majnu❤️)

From whatever little I have seen of this show before leap, begging to be with Abhi is not something new for Pragya. She seems to be doing it since the day they got married. In many of the promos I have seen, Pragya has always been fighting for her so-called kumkum.
