Okay here is my opinion why they have toned down the melodrama without watching the episode. 😆

1. Its IPL season. If the choice is between highly entertaining matches and melodramatic episodes, we know what people will choose. Over the weekend I was thinking showing too much crying probably would be a bad idea during IPL. As shows with such tracks didn't work before during IPL.

2. Don't expect any kind of TRPs during IPL. Whatever the track is, majority will not watch it anyway. Even if there is a drop in the ratings, shows need to sustain through drama (not melodrama). Thus this catching the criminal track has been introduced already.

However from all of your updates it seems CVs have made grave mistakes.

1. Lack of consistency in tracks. I am sure if they took another episode to show a gradual transition in Ranbir, it wouldn't hurt much. There would have been a continuity.

2. Showing too much of Riya wouldn't benefit anyone. Better they would have invested the time in showing a gradual transition in Ranbir.

The way CVs have handled the recent tracks, I doubt their ability in handling this track properly. But I guess it doesn't really matter what they show during IPL. It's just a game to sustain numbers. They know they won't gain it even if they show oscar worthy tracks. LOL.

During IPL every show will suffer in loss of viewers and this time they will only think to maintain viewers' hooks to our show ... so they will not add more melodrama in the current track ... Till IPL ends they will add some little bit of twist in the show .

I just want them to reduce reha screen time in our show . I don't mind the filler episode , but just want less reha-alia screen time in the show .
