Also in yesterday's episode, in police station, when prachi says she's missing everything and becomes upster and sists in a corner, ranbir looked around the cell and that micro second expression was something that caught my attention but I did not mention it because I thought not everyone would agree anyways the expression was as if he was analysing the cell and really feeling for prachi for being there ( I cannot express it the way I want to but I hope you get it ). Even today his determined expression was shown after he witnessed abhi's emotional state. Rhea had nothing to do with it. Ranbir went to jail with Abhi to meet prachi because he really thinks she's innocent and he took the blame solely for abhi and not for rhea. I would be grossed if he had done otherwise.

funny how you defended Ranbirs' actions. He took the blame for himself has three sides, the first side is Abhi and the second side is Rhea's promise and three side, Prachi impress so that she feels sorry for him and falls in love with him!

changes the place with Prachi so and for what now his father has stress and Abhi has stress Prachi feels sorry for him and I think Pragya too.

He could have just told the truth,instead of a new lie and change places and everything would have been ok!

I didn't say he did it just for Rhea.

Well for now in no way writers have made it seem or given any indication into ranbir’s thoughts that show he did it with impressing prachi for Rhea in mind but with only abhi in mind so at the moment it doesn’t make sense for you to say with complete affirmation that he did it with an ounce of ulterior motive in mind unless they explicitly show him saying so or thinking it. I mean where and when did ranbir think or say that this is the perfect opportunity to impress prachi or think about rhea’s bet when deciding to take the blame after hearing how stressed abhi was? He didn’t, unless writers later decide to show that he did in fact do it to impress prachi as well but I doubt he’d put himself in prison for drug charges merely to impress a girl.

Coming back to the topic, in no way the episodes indicated that Ranbir it doing it for rhea, infact other than realising why rhea's jealous of prachi he is'nt even shown to be thinking about her or the condition. Whatever implied this scenerio was rhea's wild immagination where Ranbir is doing it for her but we all know she's making a poppat outta herself.

Your last statement about how he should just speak the truth, truth about what ? He is NOT a part of this drug mess rhea created and is completely unaware of the truth so which truth are you talking about ? The condition one ? It has nothing to do with this situation as well. So in order to help abhi he took a desperate ( and dumb ) step but it was for Abhi. I don't even think that he did it for prachi cause he has no real reason to do something extremer for her so him doing it for only abhi is justified.

I swear it felt like she was watching a completely different episode from us because none of the things she was saying made sense. Anyways, like you said ranbir doing this for rhea or prachi makes no sense, which is exactly what I thought when the spoiler of him taking the blame came out, then I thought it could possibly be for abhi that he takes the blame after I saw that scene with him and prachi talking about abhi in the maha episode, and it turned out correct. If he did it to impress prachi for rhea it would have made zero sense given its an extreme and risky step to take just to win a challenge to impress the girl he likes especially considering it could mean him never coming out of jail and being punished, but knowing writers they'll have amnesia about the whole ranbir witnessing and realising that abhi loves prachi like his own daughter once this drug track is over and will continue with the challenge to impress prachi, because writers don't want logic in the show, as if they went by logic the writers would have shown ranbir realising that he shouldn't mess with prachi when his chief considers her like his own daughter and is so protective of her and would refuse rhea's condition, but writers want drama, not logic which they've proven with all the abhigya hits and misses they have shown including 1+ year tanu pregnancy track.

@misfit, what I meant was if u see, Sriti is more friendly with all her coactors right from beginning be it Mrunal (Bulbul) or original Purab ( don't know his name) or Mugdha ( whom OC, she knows) or even Aparna. But Shabbir takes time to open up. In the beginning with Sriti ( if u had seen those scenes, he was a bit stiff- I felt, maybe I am wrong) , then in initial Abhi Prachi scenes. But since hospital episodes, they seem better. SlIt is not arrogance. He doesn't seem arrogant nor does Mugdha and that is why I talked of shyness.

I may be wrong. But of late, they seem to do well.

It's just that your comment about claiming ranbir did this to impress prachi simply made no sense to us when it was made clear in the episode that it was for abhi, so it sounds less like criticism and more like you were making things up just to criticise ranbir's character, plus you said to chashmish that you find it funny that she's defending ranbir, which was a little un-called for really given that you yourself are saying that the forum is for everyone's opinions to express and she was just defending ranbir based clearly on what was shown in the episode.

Like I said previously, writers can do a u-turn and reveal that when he heard abhi getting upset over prachi, he got the idea to save prachi to impress her that way, but as of now everything that has been shown has clearly indicated him saving prachi was only for abhi so we have to see further to see what exactly was going through his head.

Agreed ranbir should tell the truth about rhea's challenge to abhi IMO so that abhi knows how cheap his laadli beti actually is or alternatively simply refuse rhea.

But let' not waste our time explaining ourselves. I believe everyone here is educated and must be aware of simple talking manners. Even if an abusive language is not used, I can definitely hear the tone of her comments.( O hello ) who talks like that with someone you don't know ? Not me. If his/her way of arguing was a little better I would have genuinely loved to indulge in a healthy argument as I actually look forward to hear different opinions.
