It is true that King seems to be the only sane figure of KKB at present, maybe it is because he comes from the other side of the word and also not yet ensnared into the Mehra lunacy. But, for one, he seems to stand on his own legs without relying on others unlike Abhi.

My POV of the current scenario:
1. A rockstar who shines only in his career but an utter failure as a grandson, brother and husband. He in his 40's who does not realize one bit that he is living in a circus, surrounded by people performing for the moment and rewards.
2. He does not need to be married to anyone in fact when he does not even understand what a family stands for. He has no realization that a husband does not throw his wife at his own whim and fancy or allow his family to do so. He now quotes as his family "a group of gold diggers who care the least bit about himself but only about their selfish ends. He has a brother who is constantly with him, Raj, who almost went to the point of killing his wife and almost snatching all his property. But Abhi loves him as a brother, so has forgiven him, but the same does not stand for his wife. Did any of these family members bring him out of jail?".
3. Another utter downfall for his character is marrying an immoral vamp and villain fit to be sentenced to lifetime imprisonment, who has done enough harm to Pragya for which he should not even think about her let alone marry her, who not only looks like a lunatic lifeless robot but also behaves as one now. To make her the laughing stalk of all, she is now being shown to be competing for Miss. Universe and her so called husband giving her a respectul spacing for that and that indicates that he still acknowledges his initial relationship with her.
4. And why is Abhi still with Aalya, is he going to live with her in his old days also, is he going to allow her to dominate him till the end because it is now past 8 years and still she is another lunatic gold digger calling others gold diggers.
5. Why should Purab stay in Abhi's house now. He could have just quoted one line to Abhi "Abhi, you are my friend and bhai, it is your wish to get married to Tanu and stay with Aalya, but I love my Pragya di more and loved her sister more. I have more obligations to the Arora family than the Mehra clan, so I cannot stay in a house where my di's respect has been maligned and she is not there. I cannot enjoy the luxury of your home when I know that my sister will be suffering elsewhere and we have not even heard from her to know whether she is alive or not."
6. Why has not Abhi conveyed to Pragya after he met her (though he must have been shocked knowing she is married) that he is relieved that she is alive and he was worried to death about her. Why does he keep on talking about her having moved on in life and being happy when he should be happy that she is so after so mercilessly throwing her out and moving on with his life after waiting for her only 5 months. If he wants to start afresh, he should have moved to Delhi alone without his family and lived alone. Indu Dasi and Swarna Dasi have their own families to look after them. Tanu has her own parents to look after her, Raj and his family are now a big enough family to be living on their own. And Alya should have been left alone to work her way through than always relying on her brother.

All this should be addressed to the writers but they seem to be a group of people in coma and so the directors have nothing to do but copy and paste from other serials.
