You guys should read interviews of Mishal - e.g. check blife article..he is on a la la land as per overhyped promises of Ekta & Zee.

I don't know why are u guys even thinking Shabir will be replaced, he is a senior actor n has made the show successful along with Sriti n the team n suddenly a new character will come n replace him. Going by kkb history we know how parallel leads are treated . Mishal is a good actor, he is choosy n if he is promised a strong character than good for him but everything depends on trp. So chill show is promoted as #AbhiGya love story if they wanted a new hero they would kill off Abhi n then start second innings, lol.

Why just him? anyone coming new into show will say things like that..someone mentioned last week on forum that Sriti had same enthusiasm n expectation when show started..looks like she was promised a fun light char..

Shabir may want to quit himself. It's not just what Ekta wants. Why not? And I don't think the show has challenged him lately. He may not be too happy with Abhi's character. He's so underused actually. To have a new parallel lead to replace Purab is ok. But this is a competing male lead for the female lead. That's a big deal. So I won't be surprised if he leaves.

I think writers have created a problem for themselves. They set the pattern of splitting up abhigya and that has worked very well for the show. So if they unite them, it becomes an ordinary show. if they keep splitting them up, it doesn't make sense.

So it looks like they're going to branch out and get new actors and tracks. They may see how things work out with this Mishal guy. And if ratings are good, then we may see him become a permanent in the show.

@cerealgirl hey! Am new on this forum actually. Why do you feel Shabir may leave? This has happened on many of EK soaps before where they introduce a new angle post leap. Is there something I am missing 😭😭 because I can't think of kkb without abhi and Shabir ???

Ekta is starting many new shows n webseries..kasauti 2 , yhm spin off, naagin3..but 2 days back news came she is planning serial version of kabhi kushi kabhi gham..and then this news of another hero entry..I felt she would now be more interested in new shows n might want some of her loyal actors to be in these to get popularity.. or assume I want Shabir to move out and be part of another prestigious prj

Hi!! Welcome to the forum, bk!😊 This is the time for renewing actors' contracts since we're close to 4th anniversary of the show. I like Shabir a lot. But I feel Abhi's character has stagnated. I'm guessing he may want to do something better or Ekta herself may want him for another show. Who knows!! There are a lot of options these days for talented actors and they don't have to stick with same old roles. I don't think leap will happen.

Yay!! I'd love to see kkkg as a serial. Perfect material for serial. After their stint in kkb, both Shabir and Sriti deserve bigger and better opportunities. Maybe Ekta has plans for Shabir!!

Okay that's why. Sounds fair enough. Shabir and Sriti both are talented actors and the show has nothing to offer them as of now. But I can't just imagine a kkb without abhi , for me he is not just a character but a way of living, ROCKSTAR STYLE!!

I just can't imagine how gloomy kkb would be in his absence. Now only seeing him in jail is breaking my heart💔

@cereal..I agree with the challenging part. After a point of time even actors start feeling that the role is offering nothing new and potential is underutilized. Shabbir and Sriti both are tremendous actors, and sriti no matter how bad the storyline and murderous crime tracks are there, she is getting a chance to shine. Shabbir have also done quite well in whatever the small opportunity he gets but to be fair he is slowly turning into EKTA usual make characters where everything is centred around female lead and Shabbir is there to remain oblivious from the past 2 years or just pined for fuggi fuggi fuggi. Yesterday also I commented If we removed romantic angle, purab has much more presence and actual impact on show tracks than Shabbir.

From coming out from.a jetboat mouthing dialogues like " sports is my passion and jeetna meri aadat Hain" to aamna sharif in kahin to hoga..to this character who doesn't seem a bit like a rockstar but more perfect to normal sarkari employee, Shabbir seriously need a more challenging role.
