Of course they are.
The TRPs are doing well in the past many months. The soap is doing well in the soap market.
And of course the story is typical of KB. And it's going on. It's KB's fourth year and almost nearing 1000
Epis I guess. CVs have done whatever needed to maintain success, whether it's nonsensical twists, always winning villains or the lollipops. They sure are giving regular audience what they want.

Yes, they are doing all this but I think with the safe bet of the fans love of Tisha. There are other good actors in KKB but nobody is given any sufficient screen space except Tanu. So, their hard work is not appreciable. But I hope and want whoever was in the creative team the first year in KKB to take over and give us at least some good content in the fourth year. Let the writers carry on with the same pattern of getting TRPs but have a good conscience and give some good storyline and opportunities for the other good actors playing in KKB apart from Leena. And to explore Tisha's talent fruitfully instead of reducing them to the state they are now.

I do believe Leena or Tannu is also a part of the whole success mix. The character of Tannu was introduced almost along with Abhi and still has a place in whatever illogical ways. The story was never about Abhi and Pragya's relation but more about how the villains try to keep them apart. Lol. While certain online fans may be obsessed with couple/Jodi, I think in the big picture the soap's success should be credited to one and all on sceeen and off screen including the CVs.

Completely agree.. its unfair to take away credit from Leena..

Its the characters that audience seem to connect with.. Munni without Pragya didnt bring ratings while both are played by same person.. bonus Munni being more fun character, but audience didnt connect with Munni after seeing Sriti as Pragya for 3 + yrs..

How many villains might ever come but audience still relate to Alia and Tanu even today.. and audience doesnt only mean a handful of us in this forum..

No doubt totally agreed with your post.😉

Makers did amazing. Hat's off to them.👏

Of course to the entire team still maintaining the freshness and making audiences glued for 1000th episodes with same storyline and without any big leap.😲 It's one of the Ekta's rare show which is still stuck in its initial plot yet so much successful and refreshing.

Credit goes to entire team and all the characters are well written and connected well with large numbers of audiences. And the chemistry of Abhigya.👏

CVs definitely knows well how to keep their audiences.

Another thing I came cross recently that Pragya's sister (Preeta and Shristi) was supposed to introduce in KKB long back and part of it. That track was planned after the first kidnapping track of Abhigya in 2015 but later they changed it with Tanu's pregnancy track and that got hugely successfully and show moved to another direction. So the track of Pragya's sister got delayed and didn't fit later in KKB that's why they introduced spin off to show another side of the story.

Well, that means no other characters needed in KKB if there is Abhigya and characters like Tanu, Aliya, Dadi, Purab etc. The entire team made it successful show and will continue to be.😃

I really don't understand what this trip viewers enjoys in such drag, as so many other shows with better story line fail to gain trps.

If viewers have traditional expectations of jodi happiness, then this show is frustrating. But if you look at it as a media product, it's very successful. It's made advertisers, channel, and production house rich and happy.👍🏼 It's made the lead actors and all actors very famous and increased their market value.

I've always taken an alternate perspective on this show and have seen it as how good people also do foolish things and how successful people can be very naive even though the show is very exaggerated. That's actually lot more realistic than seeing good always win and people always getting what they want. CV's have written it in a way that there's something for everyone. This a show written to be successful, not for happiness.

Tanu and Aliya start all the tracks. They'll never win but they're written as powerful characters in the plot. Pragya reacts to their plans and beats them with Abhi's help. So without Taaliya, Pragya won't get the sympathy and support as a character. Pragya and Tanu have more screen space than others.

Whatever, but there is something as performance which creates more importance to the characters, in that aspect, Shabir and Sriti have put in more than that is required for the serial. Their performance is something which binds other aspects together whether we want to accept it or not.
It is the writers who had created Tanu as a more important character just to keep Abhigaya separated. But if they had wanted, they could have focussed equally on Purab and Bulbul's character with Aalya in between. Many interesting plots could have been hatched along those lines and Raj, Purvi and Suresh too could have contributed to more interesting story line. But the writers chose just to give all that combined to Tanu and Aalya.

But looking at how much importance the writers have given to Tanu's character it is not as if it has been justified enough by Leena's acting. Most of the scenes have been created to keep her acting from being fully exposed. In that aspect, I feel Aalya deserves much more screen space.

But I want to reiterate one thing, Abhigaya has been beautifully portrayed by Tisha till now. Abhi and Pragya have become very popular. I feel the writers should give due importance to both Abhigaya and Tisha and allow them enough screen space on their own to fully blossom that relationship without Tanu's presence. That much is owed to them by the writers. They cannot allow their relationship to be marred by giving undue importance to Tanu. Let Tanu be in the serial but outside MM and in different setup.
