Script is flawed no doubt, and I have this complaint with writers always for not keeping consistency with their hero Abhi's character traits.. he is naughty, caring, loving and also demanding person with his Fuggi.
Since the day Abhi brought Munni as Pragya from his concert, he has never asked her for special coffee nor his favorite breakfast, he didn't insist her to wear his favorite chashma, he didn't take her to doctor to get her check up that too after hearing about suicidal attempts and depression, he didn't sit with her to have a detailed conversation as to why it took one month for her to come to him even after she was alive and safe, he didn't feel suspicious about Munni's touch and eyes not being similar to his Fuggi's.. atleast viewers didn't get to see such important and intense scenes. š³
Almost all scenes with Abhi & Munni till Dishrab wedding sequence looked forced ofcourse mostly shot separately, looked like writers didn't know how to take screenplay forward when viewers are demanding to see Abhigya onscreen but wanted Pragya back..Now they started giving Abhi-Munni falling overs, eyelocks and compliments only after showing Pragya alive. š
I don't like characters who are always consistent and predictable!! Fictional characters need to be well rounded with different sides to them. Also over 900 episodes I also expect characters to change and grow. From where Abhi started to where he is now, he's traveled a long, long way. That's what I actually find so entertaining about him. My pov on Abhi is not based on how he is toward Pragya. I see him based on how much he entertains me as a viewer. I wish Pragya's character too changes a bit after she re-enters in this track. It's not realistic for characters to be so fixed who keep doing the same thing and expect different results. To me, that's the flaw in Pragya's character. Writers have written as a flat character. Instead of bringing in Munni, they could have changed Pragya's character with some traits of Munni.
Abhi has stopped asking for his coffee, etc and all those other small details a long time ago. She stopped wearing chasma since the bride swap; so maybe Pragya told him about it when they were in the jungle!! Who knows.š
When a character does not know what the viewers know, we start questioning the character. If we did not know Munni is not Pragya, then we too would not have questioned Abhi. Abhi has no reason to suspect Munni is impersonating Pragya. It's not an everyday thing for a woman to lie and pretend to be someone else's wife. Abhi and Pragya's characters are written as cause and effect in tracks. So there's no point questioning their characters. This is the best writers can do!!
I actually find Munni's character so off. She seems to be enjoying her life at MM and with Abhi. I don't see her worrying about chutki and chutka who are kidnapped by Aliya and living with God knows who. How can a woman enjoy getting dressed up and eating kheer, etc, etc, when little kids are in danger?
