Have they both been removed to kdb...i happened to see the beginning of one of kdb episode when the two daughters were leaving for some reason and supriya as sarla ma in kdb was sounding and acting totally different to how she acted in kkb..rs dadi was the same..everything is different..but what is strange is that sarla has forgotten that pragya has now returned to mm after being shot...she has seemingly only concerned about the other two daughters..so kkb has lost her..rs dadi and jankie to kdb?

I haven't yet watched a single episode of new show KDB.

I will comment only from KKB perspective. First Bulbul and then Pragya got thrown out of main story line of Kumkumbhagya and are assumed dead, even if we keep this major factor aside for sometime, during last 3 weeks Arora house and Arora ladies have fully vanished into thin air from KKB without any reason, but why?

During those kidnap chasing scenes Sarla, RS Dadi or Janaki used to call and bother Purab in every alternate episode, now they don't even talk to Purab. 😕

Pragya supposedly returned from dead after 1 month, then disappeared again, came back home with Taaliya from a supposed suicide attempt, claimed to be under severe depression, is sick and bandaged, behaving and talking weirdly - not once she is called upon or looked after by her own Arora family, no one from her maternal side in KKB is even remotely bothered about what happened to Pragya, how lame it sounds? 😒 Sarla and RS dadi didn't visit MM neither does Pragya get called upon by her family, Sarla doesn't invite Abhi & Pragya home for lunch or dinner nor does she offer Pragya to stay with her for couple of days till she back to her ownself, no celebrations on finding their dead daughter alive when they actually gave up all hopes?? 👎🏼

No Bulbul, No Pragya, No Rabul, No Abhigya, now remaining male lead Abhi is totally under utilized, and then there is No Arora family traces in KKB... and SRK and Anuskha are used to promote their new film along with asking viewers to watch Abhi & Pragya love story every day on Zee at 9pm, for what??..😕

@lav2725 i have not watched any of the episodes of kdb...it so happened that i could not find the remote..by the time i did i heard sarla ma..looked at it for not even a minute and was surprised to see supriya acting..tone and everything else different...rs dadi said something also and i was taken aback by how different she was from the sarla ma we know from kkb...and removing them from kkb with no connection to pragyas character in this manner really leave us viewers wondering what really is the game plan of these writers and production..

From writers and creatives perspective, may be when original parallel and main leads Bulbul & Pragya themselves are no longer shown on KKB, then what's need of writing Arora house and Arora family scenes in KKB? Also Purab himself has been sent away from Mumbai to trigger a Haryana don plot with a new family, so no scope of him visiting Arora house, bonding with Arora oldies apprising them of MM happenings..so it is easy to make entire Arora family redundant to KKB story line..

From a production house perspective, spin-off or sequel or prequel every new show telecast at a different time slot is required to draw a separate legal contract with actors working on it. Since actresses part of Arora family who are now working on the other show KDB have their own call sheets, contracts and episodic fees to be paid, Balaji team could have felt using them in KKB would result in double payments.😛

Next they have brought so many new senior and junior actors into KKB for the sake of Haryana plot, so this way they are controlling their overall budgets by cutting down on usage of few old actors.😆

Whatever is happening one thing is for sure, they had destroyed Rabul and now they are going to destroy Abhigaya. Abigaya is the skeleton of KKB, so they are slowly destroying Abhigaya, so what more to say, let us see how the TRPs go from now on.

Even in Aug episodes I'm not foreseeing any proper movement in any plots or major tracks of KKB unless a miracle happens. Writers don't yet seem to be ready on what to show in Abhi's life after Munni spoils pooja so they may be purposely dragging pooja episodes in the last two weeks along side Haryana Don and Disha episodes (also due to their other priorities), so currently they are just using Sriti and Shabir for some filler 3-5 min Abhi and Munni scenes based on their availability.

Purab and Disha may have to land in MM on pooja day itself for Aliya to turn monster again also for Abhi to shift his focus from how and why his weirdly behaving wife ruined pooja. If Disha is given shelter in MM by Abhi as per recent spoilers, then Arora family and Arora house don't have chances to appear in KKB even in near future. 😔

Now any villains, goons or contract killers that were brought into KKB so far have directly or indirectly caused havoc in Abhigya's marital life and also brought them close. In the process increased curiosity levels in an engaged audience who got ready to watch the show daily influencing TRPs, Here this Haryanvi don's target is Purab and Disha but not Abhi and Pragya that may be a major drawback and new villain doesn't seem to have got great feedback with too much unwanted screen space he got in the two weeks. Now Vin and Ruchi are good actors independently, but have been hearing that as a pair onscreen they may fade out..😕

In a nutshell don't know where KKB script is heading towards, what they want to do with long time core characters, their involvement in the story and how they substantiate onscreen chemistry of lead pairs, TRPs may be secondary for month of Aug till channel seriously intervenes..and channel may be bothered only during Sep when their top weekend show SRGMP finally ends after 7 mths instead of originally planned 4 mths stint. 🤔

IMHO Disha-Purab/Vin-Ruchi as a couple should be given sometime to grow their relationship and chemistry...

Sarla ma is sounding different because of her complicated relationship with her other 2 daughters Preeta and Srishti. These 2 daughters are more spunky and stand up for themselves and don't take Sarla ma's emotional drama. Srishti hates her mother for abandoning them, thats from her pov. And Sarla ma is acting mean to them too. She has not told them what their dad did and how they kids got separated.

For close to 2 yrs there was no proper mention of Kumkumbhagya function hall that in a way initiated this show and was bread earner for all ladies Arora family. Last we hear in ML track was the hall got seized by municipalities and under auction by some builder for a shopping complex tender.. this was solely given as a reason by writers for Pragya to go in search of a job at the begin of ML track last year to financially support her mother who lost her hall earnings.

So in addition to taking out Arora house, Arora family from KKB now even the function hall has got thrown out from the show??

Wonderful with no Pragya, no Arora family and no function hall, what is the purpose of Ekta and Zee still retaining title as 'Kumkumbhagya' for their more than 3 yr old 9pm show, other than misuse of publicized brand name???any proper guesses? 😕
