Jul 4/17 Reactions - Episode #878 aka "Welcome Back Papa"

What is Mina Show?

When I watch an episode and react with random comments/recaps moments that struck my attention. Also sometimes my various family members participate, mostly my dad, who likes to give episodes letter grades because he's a retired professor and misses grading assignments apparently 😆

Can I comment?

While I am watching the episode, the thread has "Res" for a title, and I would ask for no comments then please so that all of my reactions can flow together. After that yes of course you can comment 😊

I DO NOT APPROVE OF PRAGYA'S CHASHMA IN FLASHBACK. I do not approve.

What's with the old film grain effect? DE TROP.

OMG SARLA. WHAT. She lieddd and said Papa dieddd omg. I disapprove.

LOL Sarla trying to turn the subject by explaining why she doesn't wear widow's whites 😆

Pragya, who have you been spending time with that your first reaction is "so and so lied to me" and not "MY DEAD DAD IS ALIVE" 😲

This sequence is rushed yaar. Dislike.

I guess Sriti being away didn't help with the time pressure to film things quickly 😔

When my feed comes back Pragya is demanding where her dad was. Umm, seriously what? Pragya getting angry? Pragya feeling hurt over being denied her rights? Guys I don't know what show you've been watching but that kinda thing is not supposed to be part of this one IF HISTORY IS ANYTHING TO GO BY...

Anyway.

Pragya did not grow up in the 70s or when-the-heck-ever these flashbacks seem to be set in.

Prags is old enough in the flashbacks to damn well remember that she had a dad and 2 sisters.

Abhi has gone to Baba. Prags is all alone. I am sad.

Whatever, it's the right move, sure, ok.

Baba says he wasted all his chances to fix anything.

Abhi keeps trying...this tone he's speaking in...this low, intent tone...this man of reason and power tone...did we ever use that memory loss character use it? Cause I don't think sooo I think this is specific to THIS Abhi buttt I just don't know *shrug emoji goes here*

I don't like anything today. Is it because the ep is disappointing or because my blood sugar is low?

My feed freezes once more.

I'll switch to watching on my computer and come back with my thoughts later, hopefully.

Rewatching flashback. Does...that woman call him bhaiya? Hi i am confused.

Baba was afraid Sarla would tell the neighbourhood. Wow what a fantastic justification for desertion and kidnap.

I am impatient for this excursion to be over and to get back to the main plot of KKB. 8 days to the launch of Kundali Bhagya , hope on day 9 KKB moves back to itself.

My parents are arguing on whether Baba should be able to recognize pragya today since he last saw her when she was 8. Dad says yes, mom.says no.

Dad says it would be better if Baba had never been brought back from the dead.

Mostly I'm distressed by the red stuff on Prags' face and how it doesn't go away the next morning. Is it blood that she just didn't wash off, or are they scratches/bruises?

Also I thought AbhiGya woke up in their wedding clothes so I'm confused about their makeovers.

And wow, Baba is being incredibly cowardly.

Overall - OMG GET THIS. Dad says the epi gets an A+ 😲 He says Prags finds her dad, AbhiGya do some romance, and the bad guys wander around lost. So he's happy! He likes it! It's a good ep!

As for me...yeah, sure, it's fine, whatever. Not great in my books but not actually bad. I see why it is the way it is. I'm still watching tomorrow. I have nothing else to say about it right at this moment!

The episode was really rushed with lots of technical errors. What baba did in the past was really unreasonable. He was found with some other woman and he wanted to take revenge. Current Baba is so generous and kind. But I liked how Abhi explained baba that he should go back. And the way he said kuch ho na ho, khana to accha milega!! 😆 And Pragya's dialogues about dying now because she is happy and Abhi saying ki aisa nahi bolte sach ho jata hai. It is like they want to fit as much they as they can in a single episode nowadays.

Young Sarla caught her husband red handed with a woman in a hotel room or lodge. He opened the door thinking it was room service and was shocked to find his wife before his eyes, and the 'other' woman at the same time came from inside with a water jug complaining 'bhaiyya tumne pani nahi rakha' again assuming its room service guy at the door.. looked like pretty rushed and hurriedly shot scene

BTW I'm suspect the woman who was cast as young Sarla may be Supriya Shukla's body double who gets frequently used by KKB crew while filming combination scenes during her absence from sets, she is little taller than Supriya.😛
