Every year, Abhigya have a meeting with the KKB creatives (CVs). Here's a snippet of what happened at this year's (2017) meeting held on July 4.
Note- all the CVs in this drabble are made up. To be honest, I don't know many details about the real CVs anyway like how many there are so I've made it up.
Abhigya walk through the door, they're slightly late, disheveled, tired but still smiling. They're holding hands with no signs either want to let go even as they enter a room full of six professional looking, suited up creative directors of KKB. The CVs can see they are obviously happy to be together which brings a smile to many of their faces.
CV1 (who looks like the most senior/ leader of the group at the end of the long table): Abhi and Pragya, it's wonderful to see you both, together and well. (CV1 smiles welcomingly and gestures Abhigya to sit in the vacant chairs directly opposite CV1's chair)
Abhi: Sorry for being late! The drive from Baba's place to here took longer than expected!
Pragya: We've been in the jungle for so long, we forgot what the Mumbai traffic was like!
Abhi: And Pragya drives so slowly-
P: -I don't drive 'slowly'!!! I drive carefully!!!
A (Abhigya are fully engaged in their own nok-jhok by now): Oh come on! If I drove-!
P:- if you drove, we would have crashed!!! You probably hold the record in car crashes on Indian television!
A: Now, that's not fair, Fuggy! Two of my crashes have been because of break failures-
P: -and one because you weren't paying attention to the road and trying to romance me!!! That's ridiculous!
A: Now you're really not being fair! (Leans in closer to Pragya, all smug and flirty) You were being irresistible- I had to kiss you- it's not my fault you make me feel that way!
P, now deep red, suddenly remembers they're in a meeting with the CVs, with many of them smirking at this point, most fangirling/boying and the CV who looked youngest of the bunch feverishly scribbling down Abhigya's conversation. P pushes A away, forcing him to concentrate on the meeting.
CV2: We'd also like to especially congratulate you two on your marriage anniversary, all the awards you have won this year and would like to welcome back the old, daring Abhi! Good to have the Abhi back who remembers the hardships from 2.5 years of TRP grabbing!
(Claps all around the table, Abhigya, abashed, nod and thank everyone)
Abhi: It's good to have memories of my Fuggy, my wife, back. (Looks at Pragya lovingly and smiles, making Pragya smile back)
CV3: And also, a huge congratulations to Pragya for remaining sane through this crazy period of her life, staying strong and winning in her love, even if her 'Bhagya' is a crazy b***ch most of the times! (laughs all around the table, Abhigya laugh along but are a little unsure of whether they're 100% happy with that)
CV1: Truly, Abhigya. You two are pure magic. You have been able to do wonders all over the world! We've been running for 3 years or so and KKB is still watched and loved by millions! Love continues to grow for you two from all parts of the world! It's a TRP topper and now let's discuss how we can keep it that way for another year...
The meeting continues with common formalities, discussion of the past events, some ideas for the future, an update about Kundali Bhagya and Abhigya's role in its story, and all goes seemingly well.
