Hello everyone
I am not Kkb fan/audience although I know the basic plot, that spin off article forced me to come here .I heard so many things about its repetitive and stretched story line and what ever I see on interest everyone is so frustrated with this rubber stretching track so i am curious to know than how it is ruling trp. Is it only lead chemistry and and fan following or something else?

There are many crap show on Indian televisions but kkb just top the list for me because at least they show different crappie tracks.I get irritated after just read articles about its some old repeated story so you people don't irritated?

P.S. I have no intentions to hurt fans felling but this time I couldn't stop my self from sharing my views

KKB fans do get irritated but we watch the good stuff too. Kkb is capable of entertaining the audience even if they are repeating stuff. People who don't watch only read articles which only writes that kkb is repeating tracks. So they only read the bad things about it. And I don't understand if ppl are not watching kkb then how and why are they hating it...??Just because they don't watch it and it's no. 1?? Audiences who watched kkb can have a opinion about it because they know what changed and why they stopped watching it. But there are ppl saying they never watched the show and they hate it.
Also every one has their own reasons, some are sriti/pragya fans and some shabir/Abhi. They watch it for them. Some love AbhiGya and their chemistry. I may skip episodes if they are boring but I cannot quit watching kkb.
Trp audience are loving this show. And trps are the proofs for that.

Ok i'm gonna be super duper honest. Whoever had this spin off idea needs to be put in jail -__- . Now to answer your question about fans, WE ARE VERY FRUSTRATED! When this show first started, it was very good. Sriti and shabbir were already popular actors before the show started and their jodi really hit it off. I loved watching them on screen and their nok jhoks and the story was pretty good too for a year. So they garnered a huge fandom in india as well as internationally. year number 2, the story line sucked and they dragged one track (vamp pregnancy which was probably the longest pregnancy in the world) for over a year. That track finally ended in july of last year. Then immediately within 2 episodes, the memory loss track started so in august and that track is still going on. So in the last three years, they've only had 3 main tracks that have been dragged for a year each which famously involved 1 death, many many weddings, over 100 murder attempts and an infinite amount of kidnappings of the same person. I don't think anyone would disagree if i say that KB is most violent show on TV. There's probably more crime happening in KB than in crime patrol. I didn't watch all of year 2 and i didn't miss a thing when i came back to watch again. Now even after all this crap, the leads have never, not once have been fully together as a couple. Three fricken years and still not together! Can you believe it? You gotta cause it's true. Well the overall funda of this show is EVIL ALWAYS WIN NO MATTER WHAT!
Now to answer your question about why it has such a high trp even though it's such a regressive show, because of the popularity of the actors, the couple and their chemistry. It is definitely not the story line. It's like one of those things. You may love it, you may hate it, but you can't ignore it because of the loyalty to the actors and the couple.

If at any point you ever have an urge to watch this show, I would advice that you immediately lock that thought away cause trust me you don't want to get into this. It's like a black hole. Once you get in, you can't get out.

I might get chappals thrown at me for saying all this but come on you all know what i said is true.

Hi! I have to say, I really think that you won't get your answers here. The people who make KKB a TRP hit are not the same people who talk about shows online. Why is it a hit with the mainstream audience? We could come up with a hundred reasons but the people who really count aren't here to answer.

Why is this show still doing well is a good question. Even though it's really dragging right now, this show is different from other shows. Maybe people are not watching it because they love the show. They're curious or they're watching out of habit.

This.Exactly.

Though cerealgirl is also right..people do watch shows out if habit evwn if the show becomes bad...sometimes its the hope that okay it was good..and it has potential..lets see if they can improve and so on..like i will give you my home example..a coomon middle class tv watching junta from 7:30-10:30...they were lover of one color serial balika vadhu till the protagonist were kids..then after leap..they inherently disliked it..but continued to watch it for like 100 episodes more before finally leaving it..so they took almost 100 episodes (4 months watching) before finally leaving their beloved show..kb they left in mid december..and my dad still watched it till january before the drag becomes too much..so people dont leave shows suddenly..they usually give it sometime even if the track goeas in the hope.that it can return back or improve..they left it because it was same story day in day out every episode...now people may leave kb if it doesnt improve..the online community is quite small compare to offline one for trp...though with my 1000+ shows experience from 1996..i will easily forget kb..all the newness and all thing is done and dusted..it had potential..they missed out

This show is better comparing to other shows, TRP clarified that. Story might be enough interesting and episodes are enough fresh looking to hold the audiences even through drag process. And my shocked to see YouTube episodes views of KB. Recent wedding episode crossed 2.1M views within 4 days and one of the episode of last year crossed 14M. It looks like people are not giving up, that's why writer are not moving and just keep exploring same track in details like hell which is something fresh and different. Others show till now never showed track in details like KB is doing, every character explored here in KB. Even KB was fast paced show thn it might broke all the records in the rating chart. And I have noticed whenever track changes and episodes got better it touched 4 TRP.
