Fri Mar 24 epi I protest! CV's coup against Pragya today

Part 1

What an unexpected epi! Shocking epi with a questionable tone, like CV's were mocking. Epi looked like a parody to me. What should have been the climax of this track and show ended up being an anti-climax with a tinge of sarcastic humor. 😡

OK first of all why did all of them waste so much time interrogating Nikhil about kaun ho tum? That scene had a comical effect. Tanu's monologue in the bathroom was misleading. As if she's going to get caught😡. Taaliya convo was exactly what we wanted to hear. That was gratifying. Aliya mad at Tanu. Almost making us feel like Aliya will expose takhil. Shucks, that didn't happen.😡 Janki amma brings a bucket of water to wash off Nikhil's colors when Tanu doesn't show up. But without much effort Nikhil escapes.😡 So Raj and his dad couldn't hold on to him. Abhi chases Nikhil and both run out of MM. That whole scene was treated as a comedy, just teasing us with Taaliya scenes.

The convo between all the people in MM was bizarre😲. It was a very unreal, surreal, and outlandish. Everyone's reactions were so off, didn't make sense, and didn't suit the context at all.

Bottomline - Pragya convinces them all she's the right person to go help Abhi as he chases for Abhi. Not the police, not Raj and Ajay Mehra, off course not Purab, or Abhi's security guys/bouncers, but petite Pragya. See CV's, that's when I began to feel you plotted against Pragya today. How is she the right person to help Abhi? I felt that was CV's first deviation from a decent script.

Part 2 - Nibhi fight

Out in Mumbai streets, Abhi runs behind Nikhil. How bizarre is that? A rockstar running after an intruder! Then comes a car chase.😲 That's abandoned and next comes running on a little bridge over a scum covered (?) green pond. Abhi thrashes him left and right👍🏼⭐️. Never was Nikhil in any position to overpower Abhi. He had no weapon with him. Abhi did great by throwing a stick to stop him in this tracks. Abhi was doing all the right things!!👏 It was a delight to see great justice in the show finally. He didn't know this is the dude who ruined his life. It felt so gratifying to see him beat Nikhil.🥳 Abhi was a darling, a hero, and a treat to watch as an actor. And then what happens?

Part 3 - Pragya, the intruder

Pragya, who had no phone communications with Abhi or a GPS planted on Abhi arrived exactly at the location at the exact moment when Abhi was fighting off Nikhil.😲 Now, how did Pragya know they were there, CV's? Did she drive through Mumbai's streets smelling Abhi's after shave?😕 Nikhil takes a stone to hit Abhi, but as Abhi was fighting that, Pragya runs to him with her "suniye." At that moment, as he turns to see who it is, he gets hurt near his forehead. Nikhil runs away as Abhi is distracted. The guy who allowed the false daddy blame, the guy who was swindling Abhi, the guy who failed the brakes and almost Abhi and made Pragya suffer runs away because Pragya interrupted their fight!

And then CV's show a strange thing😲. Abhigya eyelock.😲😡 That's the second time CV's threw Pragya under the bus for me.😲 Here's the hero punishing the villain for his crimes against them even though he does not know who Nikhil is, and what does the heroine do? She lets him escape and enjoys an eyelock and armlock in the process. OMG! That's hardly a compliment to Pragya for me!😲 I so disliked how CV's wrote Pragya today. This is the unkindest cut of all, CV's. Come on!

Nikhil escaping is not surprising for me. I expected that. Why didn't Tanu help him escape? Why did they involve Pragya in this? She ended up helping the villains unknowingly.😕 This is CV's conspiracy against Pragya! What are they doing?😡

Part 4 - abhigya back in MM

I did not like the scene after abhigya came back to MM. Pragya is not Abhi's baby sitter or his mother. I don't see this as Pragya saving or helping Abhi. She asks "who asked you to go behind Purab's attacker?"😲 That's what people do when bad guys walk into your house and try to kill your friend. You want to catch them or call the cops. And she's blaming Abhi for it? I'm shocked!😲 This the third time CV's ruined Pragya for me.😒

I can go on and on about the implications of Pragya interfering in Nibhi's fight. Mostly my argument is a practical and logical person like Pragya would not do what she did today. It's a total deviation from her character. So what's wrong with that? If the deviation was showing her character in better or as a more rounded character, then ok. For me, that's not what happened today. Pragya not only interrupted in Abhi delivering justice to criminal Nikhil, but CV's did not do justice to her character today. I'm protesting about that.

Precap - Purab tells Pragya Nikhil is the guy. Now what? Maybe Pragya has a plan to catch him on her own? Maybe CV's have another plan for Pragya.

Very provocative episode today. Makes you revolt against the script. Creates extreme reactions. Script most foul, CV's! Absolutely riveting epi!!😆

Cerealgirl, may I ask when was Pragya logical and intelligent?

The only time I can quote is her taking on Aakash during Rachna issue. And some occasional stuff...

But a lot of her decisions and moves have been so wrong and harmful to herself, her folks and Abhi..

For example...

Choosing to live in a revenge marriage..

Bringing Tannu home and making Abhi promise to marry her

Agreeing to go for Mogambo act and all her ways during the act

And her inability to take on Taaliyah/Nikhil..

Forgiving Aaliyah and sending her to Australia

I can specifically count a 100 such decisions if I had that time.

None of these are decisions of a logical and practical person.

I feel there were lot more times when she handled things smartly, Tia. You know, like solving the panwala in tabhi's drunk driving, bullet removing, rejecting Abhi, you know things like that. I know some of her decisions are arguable because everything she did selflessly thinking it's the right thing to do did not end up being worth it in hindsight. I get that. But so much has happened to her now, she not suspecting takhil at all in this track, I don't get. Even if she doesn't know it's Nikhil, letting a bad guy who came to kill Purab escape, I don't get. So yeah, I feel today her choices were more off than usual, I guess.😊

Am a goner for most part. I liked yesterday's episode. As you guys are aware, I usually discount all the logic of the villainy. For me it is the Abhi-Pragya relationship alone that matters plus characters like Purab, Pragya's family, dadi and so so. With a long show, I am usually prepared for unclosed loops, catastrophes of different kinds and unsolved ends that make main and peripheral characters seem lacking in intelligence.

Setting apart the whys and hows of Pragya reaching Abhi-after-Nikhil on the run, I will not find fault for Pragya for stopping him. I would have too in her place. If my man was on a recovery trail himself with memory lapses and related physical manifestations, I wouldn't want him personally chasing a potential criminal. I quite enjoyed her PDA and her near-confession too- very organic. Loved both their expressions in that scene- Abhi's that of realising the depth of her attachment and Pragya's- her spontaneity. Abhi should have absolutely no doubt now on whether she loves him or not. I also didn't mind her mothering tirade with the first-aid. That's her right.

Also, I have seen plenty of macho men cringe at dettol and needles. So, Abhi's reactions are quite rational, given he can't take even a cockroach 😆. Nikhil's escape- no comments. Having no police on the scene- no comments.
