In epi 195 abhi asks prags to swear she is not lying about her zipper being open and she swears "vidya kasam". Abhi asks for clarity and she says she means "vidya studies". Ive never heard this before, is it a thing other ppl say or just prags??

Okay so I googled and there is a Vidya Bhawan Gandhian Institute of Educational Studies, which is an institution focused on cropping out the finest teachers!! It was a reference to Pragz being a professor!!

Guys, you two, Mina, Nainu. You really don't know or am I missing something😕.

She says Vidya kasam ( vidya means knowledge in Sanskrit ). Being Abhi, he says " Vidya Balan ?". So to make him understand she says " Vidya (as in) studies ". Is this what you are talking about? Nobody says that. Usually kasam on me or you or my life etc... etc... etc... 😳 I have yet to come across a person who would place a kasam on knowledge /studies😲

Nainu, what made you decide to torture yourself with MMS episodes? I can never watch those episodes leading up to the forced wedding😡, just terrible.

That bolded part is out of the world though👏

A few weeks ago I got mad at Abhi and actually watched some parts of the MMS episodes, but actually sought out the episodes where RS Daadi and Sarla tell Abhi " humari beti hamein dedo" and " she has her own home and loving family, so you don't need to worry about her ". Bulbul blasting him. Just amazing, so heart felt , I bawled as I watched her tear Abhi😭. Like Mina said, the episodes were a lot more coherent then . If something is said, it had some significance, now it just goes from moment to moment, so very difficult to anticipate anything based on what is being shown😡

Milz, i think you hit it exactly.- pragya IS that rare person who would place kasam on studies. Bc it means so much to her. So Nainz is right too in that sense. It also brought her lakeside confession to mind when she said books are right up there with maa in importance in her life!

I know Mina. I just hope the writers let her have her identity as a teacher instead of making her a complete door mat.😡 There used to be so many references in the revenge marriage track about her being a teacher.

Same with Abhi who used to be able to impart worldly wisdom which books didn't give her then👍🏼. Look at where we are now for last 2 years.
