The Coffee Day - 5th Jan 2017 - Thoughts on episode

Daadi and Daasi talking like they're narrating some horror movie. 😕 Abhi is angry, Pragya is scared about his reactions and they are joking? Looks like Daadi and Daasi were used as replacement for Mithali and Taiji in this scene.




Abhi tells Pragya that he wouldn't stop drinking coffee but wouldn't drink coffee from her hand. So he tells Pragya to teach Tanu. It's such a bad decision bro. I think you would stop drinking coffee anyway if Tanu gives you coffee everyday. Anyway, they're talking it like Pragya created this coffee recipe. Wasn't it Daadi's recipe and can't she teach her would be bahu? Nevermind. And I think Abhi knows Pragya has a severe dislike towards Tanu, so it's his way of giving punishment to her. Pragya tells "Can Tanu learn even if I teach?" You're right, Pragya. When he mocks her whether its rocket science, she turns his compliment against him by telling that he was the one who told that no one in the world could make coffee like her. 😆
But it's sickening to see Tanu there even in 2017 and be a topic of conversation for Abhigya. 2.5 years gone and we're here talking about Coffee!



Pragya seriously teaches how to make coffee to Tanu! Tanu being Tanu is not interested in learning how to make the coffee. Tanu asks Pragya why she is angry and asks her to teach pyar se (not sure). Tanu has so much nerves to ask this even after the terrible things she did to Pragya and Abhi but then the good guys are never about revenge and are always forgiving (or forgetting)



Purab and Pragya's conversation in the kitchen. Pragya is angry with Purab because her plan got spoiled because of his heroism. I was like Purab there - What plan did you have Pragya? 😆 But then she is right to some extent. She became his secretary, then friend and then best friend but now he's not even willing to talk to her properly. Though these didn't happen preplanned, she won him through her care and affection. It's her true self that made him attached to her. She didn't need to be a friend of his sister, didn't need to make him drunk and get close to him, didn't need to emotionally blackmail him into proposing her, didn't need to fake her mom's health being in danger, etc. She just remained herself. True, he didn't propose to her and is going on with his wedding preparations with Tanu, but still his heart is going to Pragya. He is just dead slow in realizing his love. He realized he has feelings towards Pragya but still for him to take an action on it needs more time I guess. If CVs have mercy on us, we might get spared of seeing Tanu and Abhi in Mandap.



Abhi coming to the kitchen and getting irritated seeing Purab-Pragya and in the end, give him coffee and food to him too. I think in addition to him not overcoming the feeling of them hiding their relationship from them, he's kinda feeling that he's losing his right to be her top most priority. He comes back to room and scolds himself for going to kitchen. 😆 Don't be so hard on yourself, Abhi. What's so wrong if you see them talking in kitchen? Are you planning to not see them forever? I bet you can't do that.




Aliya and Tanu in room... I still wish Aliya had got a good friend who could ridicule her stupid thinking but then Tanu and Aliya are like made for each other. Aaliya shows where the first aid box is kept but doesn't bother why she is asking it and keeps talking about Purab and Tanu lost in her own world about her hand being burnt. Both of them don't really care for each other. Yet they are the only couple without much problems in the show. Great Bond! 🤢 When Tanu tells Aliya that Pragya has purposefully burnt her hand, Aliya tells Pragya is not like them. She is not like serial vamp MIL.

Seriously? What kind of comparison is this? Even if Pragya had intentionally burnt Tanu's fingers, how is it comparable to Tanu and Aliya's horrendous crimes? And I seriously don't understand why Pragya wouldn't burn the hand of a girl who has made her life hell for the past 2.5 years because she is good. Burning someone's hand with a pan is not equal to killing/kidnapping/molesting/making an MMS of/defaming someone. I don't like this comparison even though it is to supposed to praise Pragya's soft nature.



Purab and Abhi's conversation was the main thing in today's episode apart from coffee. Purab tells Abhi to not mix professional life and personal life. Abhi reasons its Purab who mixed it. He says Nikita is his secretary so Purab loving her is mixing personal and professional life. Abhi, you are playing this secretary, bff thing so conveniently. You call her secretary/best friend according to your convenience. When you expect her to speak out things to you or you share your thoughts or feelings, she is your best friend but at other times, you refer her as secretary. I know you don't mean her as just secretary but still be clear bro.

I have to say that Abhi and Purab are really weird friends. Abhi feels betrayed/cheated and says "you say a small word sorry for such a big mistake". Hiding your love relationship from your best friend is not good but it qualifies to call a big mistake?
And then on the other side, we have Purab who asks his best friend whether his best friend has any feelings for his girlfriend? I know Purab doesn't really have a GF and he is doing this drama for Abhi to realize his love for Pragay but still wouldn't it be weird for Abhi to have Purab questioning his feelings for Purab's girlfriend? 🤪
