What Purab did was no surprise to me. When Abhi was saying he won't make the mistake again for not trusting Nikku and talking to Pragya Purab was in thoughts. Abhi shutting Aliyah up over Pragz was a bonus and then silently listening to the witch talking to Purab, dislike. He should have shut the witch up too. Then whatever Purab was thinking he put all that in action according to me so he spoke up. (Let's see what the reasons he gives in todays episode). But to me he was calm as cucumber, so I won't be surprised if he has already thought of something for AbhiGya?!...
First part of what Purab said was pretty platonic and I loved it...
Why did Abhi feel he has been betrayed?!...
Why did he slap Purab?! Slap did not make sense from Abhi's pov unless he realizes he has humongous, strong feelings for Pragz deep inside and couldn't take it when another man is declaring love even if that is his friend like brother...
Why did he not just get upset that he wasn't told but then got happy for them like you know how BFF's do and instead he opted to insult Purab by slapping him infront of all?! Btw thank you guests for leaving straight away after the slap, rightful thing to do...
Why did Abhi think a sorry was small infront of Purab's supposed mistake?! What mistake?! That he hidden it from him?! Please! As if he hasn't hidden anything from Purab. Purab apologizing was true to his character. He would even apologize even if it's not his fault. Which btw, this wasn't no mistake or his fault in my pov...
Coming back to Abhi feeling betrayed and the fact that it was hidden from him. Non-ML or ML Abhi, it's always about him and his feelings first, then others. Ironically considering the two most loyal-est people he has besides him consider his feelings/health first. Coming back to the point, Abhi proposed the witch without even telling Purab so why wasn't he feeling the same amount of guilt of not telling the mistake to Purab?! Even in ML track Abhi mentioned Pragya knows him more than Purab, so the fact that he compared Pragya to Purab means before Pragya entered in his ML life Purab was closest to him. Atleast Purab didn't propose marriage to Pragya secretly and then told him which may have been a bigger mistake according to Abhi?! Did Abhi apologize after Purab found out?!...
Why did Abhi choose to believe Purab over Pragz?! Because he was louder?! Because he was insisting?! Not once, not twice but thrice Pragz denied there is anything between the two, told what Aliyah said is a lie and even after Purab's story she denied it. So the mistake of not trusting Nikku gets hijacked again...
So when Abhi first time round found out that Purab has a girl he's in love with and broke the promise with him he beaten him up and this time he slaps him. Am I supposed to appreciate such behavior from the lead?! The previous one was more understandable even though I disagree with the violence...
So being childhood friends how much does Abhi really know Purab?! Maybe not enough to not humiliate him infront of all, I guess...
P.S My thoughts and rhetorical questions are only based on yesterday's episode, not on the coming up or the future episodes. I already have answers to my rhetorical questions in my mind. By all means everyone is welcome to discuss. Thank you...
