So we start with Tanu drugging Abhi's drink and the two of them tossing back flutes of...juice. It's totally juice guys. But we're supposed to think it's alcohol. Anyway it's really utterly heinous what they're showing here, Tanu drugging Abhi. I am appalled. Can't stop and think of it for more than two seconds because then my brain would break.

Abhi wants to call his grandma before bed because that's the kind of teddybear he is. And he gets to call Tanu out on lying about the phone call! Good!!! Glad they didn't let that moment slip and dind't make Abhi oblivious for it.

So the TV is the source of the backtrack? Wow good job CVs. Deftly done.

So Simi had been dispatched to knock on the door! But it didn't work out. Hmm. Good on them for including the attempt.

PurGya look so cute together thoughhh. Vin doesn't look like Sriti's little brother though so my brain is getting confused.

Wow that mechanic appeared out of nowhere! Again with the unexpectedly speedy scene transitions. It's like they got a whole new team directing/writing/cutting these transitions. WHAT'S GOING ON. INQUIRING MINAS WANT TO KNOW.

And cut again to TaBhi. I really wish I was Mina Showing the Indian episode but this week it's just worked out that I end up watching the American one when it airs. I wonder what I'm missing!!

LOL Tanu nice save - he won't dance with her but she can still entertain him with her dance. Quick thinking.

Formula number...440? Chaar-sn chawalish? I don't know the full number but LOL at this line. Too cute.

Pragya is kind of weirdly passive/deprived of agency here. She's running to Abhi but stuck because of Purab's car. If this sequence was about Pragya's agency, she'd find another way to get there and not fret sadly to Purab. It's weird to me to see Pragya de-powered like this.

LOL Dad and I just had this whole circus covnersation trying to explain who is massaging who and me using the wrong relational words in Bengali. He thought that some unknown character was doing Mithali's massage instead of Mithali massaging Aaliya's shoulders. Anyway we figured it out 😆

Oh. This dance sequence is...what a hot mess. Look I don't agree with trying to villainize a girl for wanting to...do a dance for her boyfriend in the privacy of their room. But..this isn't just a girl, it's a villain, and this isn't just a dance, this is an evil plot. My brain is really confused.

Sriti seems to bring a sweet smile as Abhi's fantasy Pragya...DEAR LORD DID I JUST WRITE THAT. Abhi fantasized Pragya. This happened. On the show. Maybe it's happened it before but I just...have never thought of it that way...and...sorry my brain just melted I am dead.

Ok, anyway where was I. Sriti brings a sweet smile that changes the whole tone of the thing. But as much as I want to enjoy the AbhiGya sequence - which I would say is beautiful and also searing hot - I really cannot because...even though Abhi sees Pragya and we see Pragya...it's Tanu the whole time. It's Tanu in those poses. I can't unsee it. And like I said...evil plot 😔

Mom is laughing at the line where the police officer asks about fiance being boss. Then she's laughing more at the police station line.

Dad isn't saying anything but I THINK he's watching...I can't tell there's a laptop screen in front of him 😕

Props to Purab for calling the police and props the police for ignoring the do not disturb board.

Abhi jumping on manager's back made mom, dad, and me all literally LOL at once 😆

Loving Abhi drunk down the stairs. Though not sure how the drugs had this particular effect...

Oh my god he's talking about the robbery. He paid for the MS!! What?!!!

LOL A+ to the inspector for saying that asking Abhi if Tanu is his wife is pointless since Abhi is not even able to stand up straight at the moment 👍🏼

So Purab has more pull with the police - "is higher placed" - than Tanu. And Tanu's public profile and career...means nothing at all. Sigh, KKB and its convenient demolitions of reality.

Dad is asking impatiently when are AbhiGya going to unite. Mom says never. I tell them both they can't do that until they want to end the show. Neither parent is impressed.

Police officer says they're busting a racket. So not only are they implying that Tanu is a prostitute but that she's involved in a whole prostitution ring. Ugly ugly stuff.

What's with the police interrogating Tanu on whether Purab is her bhai or devar?

UGH at Tanu saying over and over again that she's Abhi's biwi.

Abhi says take her too I'll be bored otherwise.

OMG this crowd scene seems partially shot with Shabz not at all matching body double?

Dad wants to know why they aren't taking Tanu's pics.

Mom is laughing at Tabhi being loaded into the police van.

I wonder where they're going with this media angle. Abhi in that state in front of cameras, I feel badly for him...what a betrayal of trust for Tanu to get him into this state and then what a helpless series of events for Abhi to wind up like that 😔

"Kissi model Tanu ki saath"...so no one knows Tanu and the engagement...wasn't announced publicly? KKB's amnesia.

Pragz in full of serial patni mode yelling about ruining Abhi's image instead of saving Abhi from abuse. Right.

Purab says he is Laxman to his Ram-jaisa bhai. Aww

LOL AT THIS PRECAP.

Dad gives the precap an A+, he's very excited to see Pragz standing up to Tanu like that. He says it elevate the show from an F-. If anyone is wondering why Dad gives grades...he's a retired professor (economics) 😆

As for me...Mixed feelings. Yes I like Pragya cutting Tanu down to size. But this "I'm his wife, he's my husband" stuff...would mean a lot more to me if it was built on something. Pragya's been effacing her identity as Abhi's wife for this whole memory loss sequence, except for a few moments here and there. And I don't like the selectivity. I want her to assert her place as his wife without exception. I'm glad she's doing it here but I don't have confidence that she'll stick to it. If she does - that's what I would give an A+.

Overall: Good episode but crazy chaotic. We didn't have to see anything super sleazy - the police interrupted right after the dance, and the dance was half intercut with AbhiGya lollipops anyway. So all things being said, this was a very mild way to deliver on this weekend's wildly terrifying promo. But we're back to where we started at this point, still n changes to the story overall. So it's fine, you know, as a placeholder/dragging episode, it did its job; as the climax to this mini-arc, it did its job. It was entertaining. I'm still kind of emptily disillusioned with the show as a whole, though, so I don't know where this leaves me. Yeah, it was good, but...I still want more, even though I know it's pointless to want more.

WHY would you say that to them, anyones going to be depressed thinking they have to wait until the last KKB episode 🤔😆

Mom is usually busy doing something; she doesn't like the show and she really doesn't like how much time I spend on it. But if she's around when the episode's playing she'll comment here and there. Today she was done her usual stuff so sat with us while we watched it and had more to say than usual 😆

As for why I said that, I kind of think it's true? Maybe the show will continue after AbhiGya unite but it's taking so long I find it hard to imagine that 😆
