yea it is true that most new shows, don't survive because most viewers want to watch drivel like KKB etc, but it is not always true, few show tends to slip in and take the viewers completely by surprise. we have Mahek which have a different theme and feel to it is slowly climbing the trp chart, while we have the drasti and Arjun new show, Chanda Nandini and many other with hype up promo and what's not struggling to connect with fans.

I think what is keeping kkb going is it fan base and the maker keep giving viewers a false sense of hope with every track.

We do get good TRP's when the Romance is building up as in the case of mahek Sustaining the same is real challenge and how do you take up the Story further after the Romance .

KKB has good actors Yesterday Expression Scene is a good Example of that and that is why they have good Fan base . Hope the CV's do some Justice to that.
