From August 12, 2016... passive Pragya! How long more?

Thanks to Anu for making a post about why Pragya doesn't speak up. That made me make this post.

Aug 12 2016 started a fresh track which was called as season 2 by some of the KB cast.

It's almost 4 months and many things happened from that day. The tracks may be repeated. I agree there was nothing really new in this 4 months.

What did Pragya do in this 4 months. Pragya as in the leading lady of the show, the face of kumkum Bhagya. She dreamt, she cried, she challenged, she failed, she smiled...all this is a result of others deeds.

1) She was in a Lala land in lovelife company - agreed. Who wouldn't be. She met the love of her life after a month and he is safe after meeting her.

2) Alia threatened her and she challenged her back.

Result? - A fake blame on her character by Mr. Varun Sethi. She couldn't do anything and Abhi came to her rescue.

3) Pragya was brought into MM as Abhi's secreatry and the result. Taliya trapped Abhi. Only time he needed support and help and still he is not getting help.

4) Another challenge - Abhi shadi got fixed. Purab brought Tanu's friend but that went waste.
Added to that she was arrested for fraud.

Abhi trusted her but dint save her. Maa saved her from jail and Abhi proved her innocent. She ran away from the city following her mom.

5) she was kidnapped and Abhi saved her and got hurt. What she did?

She told him she was kidnapped BYMISTAKE!

6) Another challenge and we got Pregnancy drama. She maintained a silence until Maa proved her not pregnant.

7) another challenge and we will know the result of it soon.

These are the major things that happened in the show. She was trapped 4 times majorly.

Kidnap, fraud and Office - Abhi saved her and proved her innocent.
Pregnancy and fraud - Maa saved her and proved her innocent.

They are many other small small stuff which I ignored and only one big thing That happened to Abhi is the party. There was no major effort to help him.

It's almost 4 months. When will my heroine start actively protecting herself?

Will we only see her dream about Abhi, smile at him all lost, cry when villains taunt, lecture when she is saved?
I want more from my female Lead. She clearly knows what's happening around her and who are her enemies. I want her to take precautions, it's ok if she doesn't save Abhi, I want her to save herself.

How long should I wait for this? It's already 4 months.

I have 100 expectations on Abhi too. When Abhi can do so much when he has ML. How much I can expect Pragya who is totally fit?

Agree Prani Pragya should start thinking Practically instead of leaving everything to bhagya.

Lol She is more passive than I thought now that you put the whole thing together!!

So many challenges and taunts from either side in the past 4 months but not even once she did something. 😭

Alia did so much and everytime Abhi / Maa rescued her.
As if she won herself she went and challenged them after getting rescued.

One thing I agree with you posted - I want more from my female lead. Me too! I really want her to be happy and successful, but nothing is working out for her. It's very frustrating to watch.

I'd like her to move on from this marriage and find happiness in other things or another guy. Or if she wants to be happy with Abhi, I'd like her to go to the police and get taliyakhil arrested and get rid of the problem that's destroying her marriage. And focus on treatment for Abhi.

I was thinking of reason about why Pragya will Not open her mouth and I found out it's not just opening her mouth, she dint really do anything till now after ML began.

Her battles were fought by Abhi and Maa.

Do I really want to see Pragya with other man? - No!
But if it's a mutual serpertion, I have no problem. 😊

She is a 'damsel in distress' always needs rescuing!! I dont like the character at all. To me, Aliya is the female lead in this show...I find myself saying 'well done Aliya!' Go girl! Well played Aliyah!

My major complaints is not her passive self but her "no action only words"
