This is my pov.
I feel that Pragya fears that Abhi may not love her if she comes out of the friend zone.Perhaps Abhi might retreat.Aliya is thinking of ways to get rid of Pragya from abhi's life.By making him believe that they are still friends,pragya hopes to be in his good books.According to me .purab is a non entity.
Pragya is shown to be in the defensive here.
It only means that legally Pragya does not have a right over Abhi.
From abhi's POV.Abhi too feels the same.He might lose Pragya ,if he comes out of the friend zone.
Both are not quite sure of their relationship or the other person's feelings for them.
By acting to be the perfect friends,they (Abhi n Pragya)hope to continue to be together.
Both are ignorant n foolish.
For now,both are happy to be enjoying the attention that they are getting from the other.
A change in this eqn will bring a more assertive Abhi.
Perhaps Pragya is the one who ASSUMES that she does not have a legal right over Abhi.
This P n P plan is like a wild goose chase.
It will be easier to say ILU to each other.
italics - That's why Purab plan failed. Purab thought by saying purgya are in love will force Abhi to realize and express his feelings. Actually, Purab's plan forced Abhi to become silent about his feelings for Pragya out of respect for his friend. 😊 So you're right. That's why maybe both Abhi and Pragya are playing this bff game and hiding their real feelings.
bold - To me, this doesn't make sense. If they're still married, she's the one who has the most legal rights here. Instead of using her rights, she's losing her life and letting Tanu into Abhi's life.
underline - Purab's plan is self destructive and a losing strategy.
