Yesterday when Sarla Maa was slapping her head and cursing herself for giving wrong teachings to Pragya about love and life. I was wondering would Pragya have been different if Sarla Ma never told them those things..?😕

Daadi and Sarla Ma have few things in common. They both have seen really tough times. Both of them brought up their children all by themselves. Sarla Maa had KKB hall with her. About daadi, they never told how she brought up her family before Abhi became a RS. Why is there so much difference in their upbringing?

Sarla maa raised Pragya and Bulbul whereas daadi raised Abhishek and Alia. Usually the first child in a family is quite a responsible one whereas the second one is always a ziddi or chanchal(naughty) one. Pragya and Abhi both of them were quite responsible kids and they still are. Abhi with his hard work and talent, changed the lifestyle of his whole family. Whereas Pragya was also working as a professor in university before her marriage.

Sarla Ma taught Bulbul and Pragya too many good things and both of them were quite responsible and independent girls. Both were kind. Bulbul was a bit witty but still she was a sacrificing girl.

Daadi would have also taught them good things only. Then why are Abhi and Alia so different..?? Alia behaves as if she was never a middle class person. Daadi was saying yesterday that Alia Australia main pali badhi hai. I don't think so. She went to Australia after Abhi became a RS. I remember a flashback scene where Abhi and Alia were in their chawl and Abhi was giving some gifts to Alia. Why is Alia so heartless? She didn't got Purab so she pushed everyone way. It wasn't Abhi who ignored Alia but she herself was responsible for everything happening in her life. Daadi was everything to both Abhi and Alia. Abhi was only 13 when his parents passed away. So Alia would have been 9 or 10. She would have also seen hardships in her life. Look at her now, she is a certified criminal, a murderer!!

Tia made a post and asked what can be the worst lie told about Pragya to Abhi? The worst lie could be Alia killing daadi and trapping Pragya. Why I wrote this? The way she was threatening them yesterday that she'll throw both daadi and daasi out of the house! I won't be surprised if she kills daadi in future willingly or unwillingly!!!

I don't think we can hold parents for the acts of children when they haven't supported their bad deeds.

I don't think Aliya would kill Daadi knowingly. Somehow I feel she is not so heartless against her own family members even though she seems to make them victims

Regarding Maa's upbringing and Daadi's upbringing, both of them didn't support their kid's bad deeds. We can't really say that children's behaviour is 100% because of the elders though parenting plays an important role. Their environment, the people around them and the way they react to their situations shapes their mentality.

Like you said, both Bulbul and Aliya were pampered but then the difference is even when Pragz became the elder and responsible one and started earning, they had financial difficulties and Bulbul wanted to help them . But in the case of Aliya, once Abhi started earning, Aliya didn't have the moral responsibility to be the responsible one. Aliya was sort of a carefree child with the attitude that whatever she wants would be given to her. When Aliya didn't get what she wanted, she started being stubborn whereas Bulbul didnt react the same way because she was not of the mentality that she would have to get whatever she wants.

It's their attitude in which they respond to their problems that change.

Aliya's mentality towards middle class may be because she hates her middle class past life where they struggled for living.
