Today I saw Him and He Smiled at me
Abhi and Pragya went to the same school...both were part of their school's music band ...Abhi was a good singer and guitarist...while Pragya was a pianist .
Abhi and Pragya knew each other since they were kids...Abhi was a year older to Pragya...but they never spoke much...their real conversation started only after they joined the school band when pragya was in 7th grade and Abhi in the eighth...Pragya developed an unknown liking for Abhi after joining the band...she realized she had a crush on him only in her 10th grade...she always admired Abhi...his dedication to music as well as studies...
She wasn't a person who writes Diaries...but since her 10th grade he stared writing one...All about him...It wasn't very long...nor was it short...it only contained her sweet memories with him...one such was...

Dear Diary,
Today we were left free for half day ...since there was a sudden teacher meeting and we were free almost the full afternoon...we decided to practice music as...next month we had to perform something special for the Teacher's day...so we tried working on it...almost an hour was over and we wanted to relax a bit...My friend Rachana brought Uno Cards with her...so she suggested we'd play them...everyone were excited ...but I backed out since i didn't know Uno...but my senior Sia Di encouraged me telling that i can learn as they play and asked me to join...soon i got playing Uno...it wasn't a very difficult game but it wasn't an easy one either...my senior who sat next to me asked me to put the red card on the table...i did as she said...nd it benefitted her ...while Tanu was quite pissed because it didn't turn out in her favour...She got soo mad that she yelled at me for playing a game which i had no idea of...i felt soo bad that i had controlled my tears and backed out of the game...Sia Di and my another senior shouted at Tanu for behaving so rude...i sat quietly.., when Abhi whispered to me..
Hey Pragya , Don't cry please...You know her right...she's always like that ignore her...
but i couldn't stop crying ...i tried not to look at him..i didn't want him to see me crying...later i just wiped my tears and looked at him...
He just smiled at me and said , That's like a good girl...now come and sit next to me...
I was confused and frowned at him...
He smiled again saying, Let's play this together okay?? we both are a team now...just carefully look at the way i'm playing...i'll show you each card which i cast ...okay?
I just didn't know what to say...he was this sweet!!! I just nodded and sat next to him and the gently made me understand the way to play Uno...
It was a really small event but i hadn't felt happier...
So many other moments between Abhi and Pragya made her feelings for him.more stronger...like he offering her a seat during a school function when it was soo crowded...helping her when she fell down...Asking for her chocolate as it was his favourite..nd once she wore a pretty gown for a school drama and she caught him staring at her..days passed but they weren't friends yet!! they both were kinda shy but they always passed a smile whenever they met...After his 12th grade Abhi went to Delhi to study. MBBS...(he studied school in mumbai)...Pragya felt soo bad..she knew she had to see this day...after all it was always his dream to study his Doctor's degree in Delhi...
He had gone and she missed him like hell...he was her facebook friend and she used to chat with him...but quite rarely...
After 1 year ,
He made a surprise visit to Mumbai to meet his friends...His school band still existed ...like they met up every saturday for practise...they wanted to make music...and they were working on it...so Pragya too went every saturday for practice...but one saturday as she walked in to her school...it looked so desserted ...She searched the whole place when suddenly out of nowhere Abhi came in front of her ...She was shocked when she saw him waving a big Hi to her ...She smiled brightly asking him about his visit...He told her how he wanted to meet his friends and so he came here...he also told her that he came to visit the music band members too ...
Pragya was like mmm I don't know where they are i'm sorry...i assume they are practicing in Rohith Bhai's home...she said...I'm not even on the whatsapp group as i don't have a phone of my own!!
Abhi was quite shocked...he then asked about her acedemics...and they talked a lot about everything happening in their lives...
After spending a good time Abhi said he's gotta leave as he had to go the very night back to Delhi...they waved each other goodbye ...She had a content smile after meeting him...Abhi watched her with a smile as she went away...he was very happy that he met her because...
Little did she that he too had a hopeless crush on her ...and he came to Mumbai not actually to meet his friends but specifically Her...😳...
P.S. hope you'll like it...please share your thoughts as on how i can improve...because this is my second Os only...😃
I dunno whether to call it an os or drabble.😆...i know it's not too long... please do let me know how it is 😊
