Why wasn't Daadi surprised?

Lots of discussions about Daadi recently so let me add my post too. 😆

I wanted to ask this. So when Abhi introduced Pragya, why was Daadi not pleasantly surprised? I m not talking about her being mad at Pragz but her reaction to Abhi introducing Pragya to everyone and the supposed statement of Abhi seeing Pragya being a danger to Abhi being false. Shouldn't she have a happy/pleasant reaction that her grandson is fine after seeing his wife (of course he sees her as a stranger). Isn't it a bit of relief or improvement?

Again I am not talking about Daadi's behaviour towards Pragz as I already have issues with it but the way Daadi reacted looked so indifferent to me.

Indu Daasi was explaining to Daadi how Pragz meeting Abhi didn't affect him. Was being mad at Pragz more important than thinking about this? Shouldn't she be thinking about consulting a doctor and tell him that her grandson is not affected by seeing her wife as they supposedly assumed and got scared of. Shouldn't she be thinking of getting his treatment? Or has Daadi decided that Abhi need not get his memory back like Taaliya (of course they have different intentions)?

When Purab came to know, he was surprised and overjoyed about Abhi not getting negatively affected by seeing Pragz. Indu Daasi also seemed to have a similar reaction.

Why was she not surprised?

This is what annoyed me yesterday to the core.
Remember how Purab reacted?

He was happy, excited and the way he told aroras showed how much he cares for them.

Whereas dadi here did not even think once about it.
She was only talking about the promise broken which made me irritated.

I guess on seeing pragya dadi was angry to that much extent that she didn't even Paid heed to all this . For dadi pragya disobeying her order is more imp than anything else .I guess after sometime she might think about all this & sort out everything with pragya

This makes me think she's a villian for Abhigya 😆..like seriously I can't think of a valid reason for her reaction! !!!!!!

This reaction may hold valid and logical if Pragya and Daadi are teenage friends. 😆😕 But Daadi, here is an old matured woman and the eldest of the family. A better mature reaction should have been there.

So many theories Nivu:

1) She's not an Abhigya shipper in my books. Sorry to those who feel that way, but someone who doesn't want a couple to talk it out and be together isn't a shipper for me.

2) She's scared that if Pragya comes back to MM, she can't go to Arora's house to get samosas.

3) She needs to beat RoDaadi when RoDaada fell in love with her vs Daadi. And so thats also why she's not an Abhigya shipper-she wants Tanu to win secretly (Joking...but not really).

4) If she's not the boss of whats going on, she's not happy. She liked that Abhi got married to her choice. MMS track, she was in a coma. She absolutely hated that Abhigya partnered up and hid the fake pregnancy/Tabhi baby from her. She scolded Pragya on many occasions in the last track whenever Pragya took decisions without Daadi's approval. Abhigya patched up without Daadi being there and it ended up with Abhi having ML-Howww was Daadi going to leave this opportunity? She let Pragz go. And now when she's come to realize that Abhigya are in touch without her knowing, she's pissed. She wants to be the queen bee and if she doesn't get to be boss and be everyone's BFFL, she gets insecure/upset/angry.

Don't remind me ,nive !! The reaction she gave on seeing pragya was not shock..but disgusting look !!
Even after daadi explainedn pragya explained things..still she is not convinced !! Wht she wants actually?! A obedient servant in the name of bahu?! So tht she can make her to do things wht she wants to do ...N she can maintain good name !! So tht she can throw tht so called obedient bahu out as if she is unwanted furniture ?!
Infact she has to feel bad tht her bahu has to go to work for her living .n her family...isn't tht bad?! On top of it ,she is a still working as a secretary to her husband who forgot her completely ..N she reduced to work for him in the very same house from where she unceremoniously thrown out !! Did she ever cared abt wht pragya is doing or how she is hoping up in her life .?! ..nope ..just went their house to fill their stomach when her poti didn't allow them to visit her pota's album launch !!

Wht right she has to get mad on pragya ?! She lost all right when she threw pragya out of her husbands life !!

I am stopping withthis ..I can't stop then !!

Because she is a bad actress 😛

On seeing pragya her first reaction would obviously of shock , her assumption is that seeing Pragya Abhi may get stress attack.

Pragya had promised her that she would stay away from Abhi but now Abhi bought her home.

Hi-five! You wrote exactly what I am trying to say in all my posts. Theek hai her first reaction after seeing Pragya was acceptable. She was shocked because she didn't knew anything about their meetings. But then she should be happy after seeing Pragya back in MM without stressing Abhi's mind. Purab, Indu daasi everyone gave the expected reactions. Right now daadi is behaving as if she is the only one who cares about Abhi. And she want Abhi to be safe because he is the one earning and feeding everybody there. Now see what Alia and Tanu will be doing. Making him drink alcohol and then misusing the situation. Can daadi stop them? It will be Pragya who'll bring him back home.

And consulting the doctor.. Purab, Pragya, daadi.. all three of them are not thinking about doing so. They should!! I'll not be surprised if Alia and Tanu goes to the doctor first to know about Abhi's state of mind and whether he can get his memory back? So that they could prevent him from spending time with Pragya.

She was the only one who is still worried about Abhi's health to which she feels Pragya is a threat as per docs ( they all gotta have second opinions here about how they are dealing with him). If she ships Abhi's life over AbhiGya union she is not a villain in my POV. People forget she is still the biggest AbhiGya shipper around! Ask Pragya she would say the same.
