Sitting inside the guest room of MM, she was crying non-stop. Frustration, desperation, helplessness anger everything was there. Flashes of her Abhi lying in the middle of car wrecks, her frantic searching for him, his last call, bleeding Abhi, doctors, long hours outside operation theatre ! Anger was mounting in her and she was also feeling helpless. She could not do anything. Literally nothing.
And now things are back to normal or even worse. Tanu is his girl friend and she is nobody. Just a nurse. Only small mercy Tanu is not LIVING in the house.
She cried further and further and was feeling suffocated. She needs to check him. But the sight of injured Abhi lying on the bed is breaking her completely. Gathering herself with all her might, she crawled towards his room.
"Not a tear more ! I told you right, I don't want to see another drop of tear in your eyes", he said holding tightly the fragile, shocked Pragya, who was completely thrown out of balance due to his sudden pouncing on her. He jumped on to her the moment she entered the room, after ensuring to close the room securely.
"I told you right, I would return to you always ", assuring was his top priority now.
"You .. you remember me .." she bore into him.
"Are, what will happen to me. You think I am a fool to not to save myself when I know well of brake failure. Nothing happened to me" he gave the most amazing smile
"Aap teek ho" the shivering she frantically touched him all over. His face, his legs, hands, chest .. throwing away the big bandages in the process. And he let her.
After few good long moments, "bas bas, if you continue more kuch or hojayega", he winked at her smiling brightly.
"Aaap, Aaap, how could you do this to me" she now started hitting him on the chest.
"Easy easy Fuggy, I am not hurt greatly but jumping out of a moving car also damages to some extent ... " he faked pain and she stopped immediately
Kyon kiya ? the question was glaring in her eyes.
"I had to, I had to. To put an immediate full-stop to this blood shed. To shield you from those bas***ds. To get some time to get back to them properly. To relax them and then pounce on them in the most unexpected way. .. Punish them in a way they can not even imagine of " he was now gritting his teeth loudly. She hugged tightly to ease him.
"Imagine if you were in the car. You are not experienced enough to get out of that speeding car. I knew the tricks, could manage myself out. But you .. I can't afford anymore losses. " He hugged her tightly.
After long moments
"Sorry I could not let you know of my faking before. I had a deal with the doctors. I also had to ensure we convince them completely' But no more tears ! please no more of them' He hugged her even tighter..
