Hi guys, I am new to this forum , read all of the wonderful stories, althought mostly i have been a silent reader, but came up with an idea. Hope you guys enjoy it. Thanks in advance..

DIL-E-NADAAN

Pragya was the only child of her parents. very jolly very lovely always smiling playing pranks. When she reached high school her father got a new job in the big city. She was really excited and fascinated at the thought of her new life, new school new friends, although a bit intimidating the idea was quite alluring. Her father was the PA to businessman Prem Mehra, one of the leading industrialist and owner of mehra industries. Prem was a very generous person and soon both their families became quite close, infact aliya, Mr. Mehra's daughter and pragya who were in the same standard(although diff schools) became best friends. Pragya soon because of her chirpy nature became the apple of the eye of Mehra family specially Dadi. They treated her as daughter of the family.

After graduation, Aliya went ahead to marry her college sweetheart Purab who was luckily a family friend's son, so no issues in cajoling parents ;). The preparations were on full swing. Today was Aliya's haldi ceremony. Pragya herself resumed the responsibility for her best friends marriage so was really busy with all the preparations.

"Oh bhaiya, ye kya laga rakha hai, hato aap waha se me karti hu isko, jao aunty se pucho aur kya kaam h " pragya yelled at a decorator.Then our jhansi ki rani herself stood up on the stool and started arranging the flowers . She had a small smile on her face thinking hmmm.. now this looks good. Pragya indeed you are the best. and then she smirked to herself. suddenly her attention went to a nearby flower pattern it was just not right a bit tilted. maybe i can reach it from here saying to herself she tried to tip toe slightly outwards and boom...

No indeed she never touched the ground. (well she is our heroine what else do u expect). Well here comes our hero.. ahem ahem. so, all the while pragya was busy with her antics the one thing she failed to notice was there was someone who was silently observing her. Abhi(ta da da) never knew how his legs carried them to her on their own accord and when he saw that she was about to fall on an impulse he jumped forward to catch. Now while she was in his arms he has the wholesome opportunity to look at the exquisite features and the expressions which initially drew him to her. Her eyes were closed tightly out of fear, and after which felt like an eternity she realized she is well not ton the ground she rapidly opened her eyes to find herself in the most unusual place in the world. A boy's arms who was intensely looking at her. this was too much filmy,she scrunched her nose slightly to show her displeasure. but maybe this was giving the guy some secret pleasure as he was smiling at her now. "oye ab but ban ke kya khade ho , mujhe neeche bhi utaroge" she yelled at him which brought him out of his reverie. "oye madam , thank you bolne ki jagah chilla rhi ho very good manners vese tum ho kaun " he taunted. "are to bolne wali thi na me thank you but chaddo u r very rude u dont deserve it but me bht acchi ladki hu na to mann to ni tha but still THANK YOU" she stomped her foot , turned her back and went away in a whoop. This again brought a charming smiling on his face, laal mirchi uff. but who was she indeed.

CHAPTER 2

Pragya angrily stomped her foot in front of aliya, who was amused by her antics, it was her wedding, she was the one who should throw tantrums here!! she turned to her friend smiling and asked her the reason for her dismay. She explained all adding a few curses to it. Aliya was bemused at her friend yet again. here that poor boy tried to help her and she was showing arrogance. She tried to reason with her but knowing that it was of no use tried to redirect the discussion in another way. "Hey Miss blabber, but who was ur deewana ashiq" aliya inquired with a smirk. which added fuel to the fire, but after a second she genuinely pondered over the question who was that guy not trying to recollect his face she was definite that she had seen him somewhere. Just then, a big male came running an gave aliya a bone crushing hug. "OMG!! i seriously can't believe my choti is going to get married. i am so so so happy for u" tears of happiness started brimming in the eyes of the bro sis duo. Pragya quickly realized he was Aliya big bro who lives in US. Although she never met him personally but aliya used to talk so much about him all the time. She had only seen his childhood pics so had no idea of how he looks now. but one sec his voice seems vaguely familiar. He turned to her that very moment breaking her thoughts, and she looked at him open mouthed in complete shock. He again had that sexy smirk on his face. (what did i just say sexy, hold on pragya).. Aliya turned to her to introduce her brother but pragya excused herself and hurriedly went out. Oh god what a fool am i fighting with him even before knowing him. what will aliya think of me i am ill treating her brother on her wedding, she felt pangs of guilt, dadi called her from somewhere she got a quick escape from her thoughts and left. soon she forgot about the incident and was again happily supervising the arrangements.

In aliya's room: she got confused with pragya's behavior. she looked at her retreating back with wonder when abhi went ahead to ask her what was lal mirchi doing here. When she looked at him with the same surprise and told him she was her best friend pragya abhi went into fits of laughter. "Oh god choti u found only that lal mirchi in this whole planet to make your best friend, you still have got a weird choice" aliya looked at him angrily to which he stopped and slowly narrated the whole incident to her. later both of them laughed hard at the incident.

It wasn't the end but the beginning of the nok jhok session. during the whole ceremony they relished many such moments which began with bickering but at times ended up with their cute eye locks. They were oblivious to this fact that someone was closely observing their every move.(come on guys its a romantic novel don't expect any thriller situation :P). It was none other than abhi's dadi. She was always worried about abhi, he was almost never interested in any romantic situation, no past history of gf's, no love interest, he was very sincere and his only love were his family and his work. Dadi always wanted him to live a stable life with his partner. she very well knew how much he suffered staying away from his family for the sake of his work, he ever showed any of it though. In both the kids aliya was more outspoken, she never held things back. but abhi always had a hard time revealing his emotions he was a silent person, one who could never openly show his feelings. He needed someone that could pry things out of him, who could make him smile, make him show his emotions, and in the due course of the wedding she somewhere got a feeling in her heart that he had already found that someone, maybe he has not realized it yet but she definitely knew what to do next. (dadi with an evil smile) time for me to play cupid.
