Pragya's birthday gift
On Pragya's brithday, Abhi intends to give her an extraordinary gift.
A: Close your eyes.
P: No.
A: *pretending to be threatening* Do it or I'll steal your nose!
P: *scared like a child, quickly closes eyes- which Abhi of course finds adorable*
A: *gently pries open her hand, places something cold and metalic in her palm* Here, your birthday gift... you can open your eyes now.
P: *opens eyes, looks at gift, looks ecstatic* You bought me a lock?!!! This is perfect! This is the most practical, useful present I have ever been given!!!
A: You think so too! I'm so glad you liked it! Look closer at! *extremely excited*
P: *squints to see engraved writing on the little gold lock, reads out:* 'Abhi and Pragya, together foreva <3' *Pragya cracks up laughing*
A: *a little sad* What's so funny? You don't like it?
P: Of course I do! It's the cutest thing ever! It's just funny how you tried to rhyme 'eva' with my name! And the love heart! But I seriously like it- I really do! Thank you! I needed one so this will come in handy.
A: We'll both need one *smirking, winks*
P: Heh? *confused*
A: Read the engraving on the other side!
P: *turns lock around, reads the very small letters:* 'Do not disturb' *still confused but goes with it*
A: So... why don't we... well... you know... try the lock on? *winks*
P: Oh, good idea! *Abhi smiles at this, excited, but smile changes to shock when he sees Pragya going to her bookshelf instead of the door* I needed a lock for my diary! Thank you! *puts lock on diary, very pleased* And now it's perfect!
A: *major face palm, then realises something* Vaise, why do you need a lock on your diary anyway?
P: *finger on lips* Secret!
A: What secret?! Don't you trust me?!
P: *doesn't respond, just walks off smiling, intending to put the lock on the door later at night while Abhi follows after her, very worried about what she may be hiding from him!*
