Although Abhi does not "worship" God as such, God listens to him whenever he does pray. He has prayed indirectly and directly to God in distress.
Daadi didn't need to have him pray for a wrong thing. She could have just prayed herself on his behalf too.
During Diwali 2014, Abhi prayed that Pragya should go out of his life. And Pragya did go out of his life for a reason that they both didn't need to separate. She was in love, he was in love but still they had to separate.
And when Pragya was kidnapped, he wanted God to give her pains to him. And what happened was he ended up with Pragya at the kidnap site and his life was put in danger. He got all torture from Neel, and even a bullet which might have been Pragya's share.
And then he prayed for Pragya's safety when he felt something bad had happened to her, and she did survive such a terrible accident.
Now he believes the baby is his, and he truly wants to give it his name. And he is fighting his emotions for Pragya and doing many compromises to marry Tannu. And his prayer again is sincere.
What if God listens to him this time too?
I mean God may grant Abhi his wish and later everyone has to fight that wish out!
