We all know Abhi is impulsive. If he has known about Taaliyah all this while (even before Lady Mogambo's entry into MM like I suspect he has), then past history ought to have repeated itself and he should have and would have taken action by now. But aside from being impulsive Abhi is also strategic and most times than naught he also dishes out justice as he deems fit, as evidenced in the past. He may have been manipulated by Aalu and Tanu into revenge marrying P when he thought her to be a homewrecking-gold digger, but he did follow through with the act of marrying P because to him, someone so despicable deserved to be played with in kind.
The thing is Tanu's lie not only affected him. It destroyed a family. Tanu played God with his life when she decided to trap him with a child that wasn't his. And on top of that she keeps threatening to abort said child. She made Pragya feel obligated to step aside, playing upon P's innate goodness by backing her into a moral corner where Pragya felt that she had no choice but to walk away from her marriage by sacrificing everything and giving up her rights to Tanu and the supposed Mehra heir. Tanu's lie also turned the rest of the family into mute spectators who could only watch in horror as abhigya's marriage fell apart in order to make room for Tanu because they were now stuck with her.
Tanu played God with everyone's lives. Based on how Abhi mete's out justice, whose to say that his lackadaisical attitude is nothing but a front because he is doing the same with her: lie to her, string her along, and then when the moment is right - toss her aside. Because let's face it: Tanu is pregnant, which means once she's exposed as the liar that she is - Abhi (and the veiwers) will be robbed of slapping her the way he did Aalu. He'd be a monster for slapping a pregnant woman (I personally don't think so, but I know a lot of other people would strongly disagree with him slapping a pregnant Tanu) and even if he did, whose to say that in that moment it wouldn't affect the baby? Say what you want about Tanu and Nikhil, but that innocent child is blameless. It's not his fault that he can't chose his parents. But Abhi needs to get his frustrations out some way.
Tanu played God with Abhi's life. She played God with the lives of everyone he loves. And on top of that she has the nerve to keep threatening to abort the child that she keeps forcing on everyone. Because this is what she has done and continues to do in order to have her way - she threatens abortion. And this is what she'll ultimately do once her lies are exposed - abort the kid.
Tanu played God with everyone's lives, whose to say Abhi isn't doing the same now as well. Because once enough time goes by, abortion will be off the table.
After all that Tanu has done - what gives her the right to suddenly abort that child?
Because think about it. Wouldn't that be the ultimate punishment for Tanu: she'll be trapped with a baby she clearly doesn't want - just as she had forced on Abhi. And just as Pragya was forced to walk away from Abhi for that baby's sake, Tanu will be forced to accept Nikhil instead. She'll forever be tied to him and without Abhi as her excuse any longer, Nikhil will leech on to her. As for Nikhil, his career will no doubt take a hit. He made a conscious choice to mess with Abhi The Rockstar, no way is Nikhil escaping unscathed.
What's that saying, "you reap what you sow," so with that said, maybe the reason that Abhi hasn't really done anything as of yet is because it's all part of his plan. It's kind of diabolical if you really think about it -- but Tanu deserves nothing less. ⭐️
