Dialogues like that are used for dramatic effect about true love which are even used in movies, which end up being big hits 😆. I wouldn't know why anyone takes dialogues tooo seriously in KKB. I've stopped taking it tooo seriously because there have been inconsistent dialogues used by other characters too in KKB which did not make sense, as I mentioned before in a different post...

You've raised a controversial question! So the direct answer to the first part of your post is - Abhi would not have lied to Pragya like she's lying to him. That's not his style or nature. He's very transparent and would have chosen to handle the situation differently.

Abhi and Pragya love each other very, very deeply. They show their love in completely opposite ways. He's the type who'll write songs about her and show his love publicly. She's the type who'll put herself through agony and sacrifice anything for him. Their personalities are very different. Abhi is an extrovert and Prayga an introvert. He's street smart. She's book smart. He's emotional. She's sensible. She's very determined. He's more easy going.

One thing in common is they both had tough lives and did not believe in love but both learned to love from each other. I don't think its fair to ask Pragya to show her love like Abhi just as its not fair to ask Abhi to be like Pragya.
