Today's Abhi-Aaliyah scene had some interesting things.
Abhi expressed how he is very disappointed with Aaliyah for all the nasty things she has been doing. It just showed how he hasn't really ignored the bad things she has done.
He also said he still loves her despite all that, he would still do anything for her. He would beg for her, he would sell himself for her. This is the same brother we saw in those childhood scenes.
And he apologized to her for slapping and concluding that she sold the CD, immediately after he saw the proof that the manager stole it.
However, he still punished her by removing her out of his work related matters showing her his disapproval for her negligence (I don't know who appointed her because Abhi was surprised to see her in the office previously in the episode Pragya met with accident, anyways glad he removed her).
If Aaliyah's conscience ever speaks to her, she would know her brother sincerely loves her despite everything.
And I think Abhi's love is the only thing that can help Aaliyah to become better. Daadi watched Aaliyah stooping to another low silently, I do not expect Daadi to affect Aaliyah positively as of now.
I also had hopes for Pragya to mend Aaliyah in a positive way. But with what Pragya is doing to Aaliyah now, I can only see Aaliyah hating her more and more and rebelling. And Purab, Bulbul, none of them have concern for Aaliyah. Not that Aaliyah deserves any of that because she has done so much bad to each one of them, but the difference is Abhi still comes across as the one who cares about her.
Don't know what CVs have for Aaliyah-Abhi's equation in the future but this relationship deserves some honesty to it from Aaliyah's side at some point.
