Mithali Bhabhi, the strange one

She's a 'grey character' in that she's been involved in the schemes with Taaliyah and she's never really wanted the good for anyone besides herself.

You could also say, she's one of the characters who triggered many more problems after she tried to steal the Kumkum Bhagya marriage hall (subsequently turning Raj into a full on baddie who will probably create even more problems for the Mehra family).

It's been rare but she's actually helped Pragya before- like when she tells Dadi the truth about how Tanu was the one who spilt the oil causing Dadi to slip. I think she also helped Rachna out once with that banana peel...

She sees so much, but never knows the full details. She NEVER gets caught when she does something wrong and even though everyone knows she's not the greatest person in the world, they just let her be...

All this leaves me wondering- what the heck is her role in all this?! The CVs use her quite often and the actor is really good and her presence is definitely felt, but after the track ends, it almost seems like she played no role in anything. Is she just comic relief or are the CVs showing her like this for a reason? Like, will she ultimately be a good person and end up being a valuable informant for Pragya?

Like seriously, why does she exist?!!! 😆
