I kind of pestering my self thinking what is the need for Pragya to act like that when she has to convey very crucial info. I got a convincing answer from my husband. Well he watches kkb with me and he is always peace maker for me😳. Sharing his pov with you guys hoping it helps to give peace to any one who is as stressed as I was. My husband's POV in his words :

Given that she is acting as gold digger Ms Arora, going to back to her own skin and conveying message is ruled out for time being. She is abide by her promise to Dadi.

In scope:

She wants to convey the message to him.She has two options.

1. Through plain conversation : If she tells him in plain way. There are high chances that he will take it as her ranting out of jealousy and ignore it completely. Remember he is already suspecting her feeling jealousy.

2. Spicy and intriguing: So she has to own up a way through which the thought should keep lingering in his mind until he gets to point. She cleverly used her/Abhi's old trick to get the things done. The way he was stepping back with her coming mere closure to him says she attracted him and put him into daze for some time. He very well has the opportunity to push her away and check out from room. But he did not and he reacted only after once she moved back and he was back to his senses. Now he could not ignore her questions until he forgets the whole incident. But believe me it will keep bothering him until he really have her in literal sense😳 . So she achieved her goal.

His harsh actions and words from Abhi are his defensive way to tell her that he is not attracted to Ms Arora. And you know one should never leave a man in middle after he turned on, Pragya is so heart less ( me blushing 😳 and said shut up..)

She was the one who left his side at that instance and the same with the closet/file scene and being a woman it soothes me that pragya is getting the upperhand now in terms of proximity/seducing game 😆 afterall it is his own weapon that she is using against him for his own good so its the result/outcome that counts now...
